Hey! I hope you are enjoying your day/night! I want some advice from you Haylee! I have been having trouble inducing sleep paralysis. Every night when I lay down I take sleeping pills to get tired because of insomnia. I usually sleep 5-8 hours a day - more or less. But when I wake back up again I end up falling right back to sleep! Sometimes I even worry that moving too much is causing me not to induce sleep paralysis. I’d like to hear your advice on how I can induce sleep paralysis - even without prior rest as well. Thank you Haylee! ❤❤❤🎉

So many stories similar to mine and ones like your just showing the importance of doing DNA on sites like Ancestry. For me, I never knew I was not biologically the son of my Dad. I was following a path that I was sure was leading me to my father hooking up with someone else and having a child out there. When one day a light bulb went off and I came to realize I was the one about to be shocked by learning of my biological father and now I have 3 siblings, many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. What a shock when I had no reason to be even looking for such. I will take from some of your story though to hopefully help find my sisters biological family as we learned before my development that she was fathered by someone else and learned she is half Greek. We are Canadians without a clue.

Does anxiety come from childhood from the records of the passed our brain perceives as dangerous?
@TheLucidMystic3 күн бұрын
Yes! Anxiety comes from any experiences, situations, thoughts, that your brain thinks is a threat. Our brain is basically one big computer that learns from our experiences and stores different experiences in different ways, depending on our emotion connected to that experience. Anxiety is learned and can be unlearned, by interrupting the cycle when you notice it and teaching your brain safety to bring it out of fight or flight. A lot of anxiety is just trapped emotion, but we aren't taught how to feel our feelings, so they continue to be suppressed and come back up spontaneously. If we can learn to work with our emotions, witness them, feel them, honor them, we can break anxiety cycles, regulate emotion, and have more control in high-stress situations. Dreams show us where our work is!

Weird sign/occurrence: Within a dream I realized that the dream location was the same as a previous dream from years ago. When I woke up I remembered that old dream better than I had when I had it. I thought it was odd that within a dream I remembered that the other dream was a dream.
@TheLucidMystic3 күн бұрын
Yessss I talk about this all the time! I've noticed that within the dream, I have access to a whole other slot of memory. And often times I can only remember it WHILE in the dream. It's kind of like those dreams where you can remember what you did the day before in the dream with someone, or you feel very close to someone you've never actually seen in real life, etc. I definitely want to run more experiments around this!

Thank you for these valuable tips, I absolutely agree with you! You convey it very sympathetically and even if, with 13 years of clear dream experience, I have a different opinion on some things (there are always several ways to reach your goal), you are doing a great job with your channel! Nice tips thank you Haylee. A trick I use to confirm if I am dreaming is to make my finger grow longer by pushing energy into it, then I know immediately if I am dreaming. I 'reality test' all through the day trying to make my finger grow(which it doesn't) but then I remember to try it in dream and it grows instantly, up to 10 metres you can touch the far wall with it haha. When it's over 1 foot long it goes a bit see through like glass
@TheLucidMystic3 күн бұрын
Omg yes hahaha It's so trippy how hands react within dreams; they're my favorite to use for reality checks too. Just the intention or will alone to have your fingers or hand change is often times enough to make it change within the dream so I love your approach to this!!

I have always had insanely vivid dreams that often give me Deja Vu in real life, but last night was the first time I have realized I was dreaming within a dream. It became pretty distressing, and I want to know how to make it fun and not terrifying lol. Thank you so much for this content! <3
@TheLucidMystic3 күн бұрын
I totally get why you felt that way and it definitely is overwhelming when you first have an experience! Firstly I would practice the very basics which is once you get lucid, stay calm, stabilize the dream, and focus on your intention. This is easier said than done, so I find it very helpful to practice in meditation or right before you fall asleep. Imagine in vivid visualization you realize you are dreaming. What caused you to realize? How do you feel once you get lucid? What do you do next? - This is also teaching your brain what the experience is like / what to focus on. And this is a dream incubation technique in itself (choosing what you dream about through focus, visualization and intention). Imagine in this visualization feeling calm when you get lucid, and then stabilizing the dream (physically interacting with the dream to prevent the dream from fading - you can do this by rubbing your hands together, touching walls, the ground, etc). Then this is where you choose how to direct the dream - I recommend having a dream planning journal that you can use before bed to come up with a dream plan for your next experience (I have videos and livestreams on this journal). This will help you feel prepared for lucidity, you'll feel more comfortable because you already rehearsed the process in visualization and in your journal, and it'll make it so you never feel lost in your experience and you always have something you can try to achieve. But feel free to go with the flow because sometimes that leads to VERY beautiful unplanned experiences. It's important to note all that you see in the dream is aspects of your inner self, so there is nothing to fear. This work can be really deep inner work that can create beautiful insight and transformation, so get curious and stay open! It's also important to say that this realm is THOUGHT RESPONSIVE which means you get direct it with will, intention and emotion. You can transform scary experiences by redirecting the dream or dive into them to meet and transform your own inner fears. It's up to what you feel at the time! But think of the dream world like a big stage. As soon as you change the act, the dream kind of plays along. For example if you want to go somewhere specific, you can ask a dream character "You were going to take me to ______, remember?" And they'll play along most of the time! That's just ONE way, but it's an reminder that YOU can positively influence your experience and there's nothing to fear. The more you do it, the more comfortable you get. And it never gets old! You'll keep learning. I hope that this helps!

Is this the same for astral projection? Can you do a video on how to astral project from a lucid dream?
@TheLucidMystic3 күн бұрын
Very similar process to AP if you are in the right state. Lucid dreaming I focus more on the visualization aspect and astral projection I focus more on imagined movement from my physical body. As far as how to astral project FROM a lucid dream, I have a video on it from 3 years ago, but I plan to make an updated one soon! @abbypierce41968 күн бұрын
For me it's always a first step to experiencing more vivid dreams/lucid dreaming. Parsing out your dreams keeps it in the conscious as well as overtime in the subconscious which is where our dreams lie. Being able to access/connect those two makes the process easier I imagine. There are fascinating articles on neuroplasticity and lucid dreaming.

The dream journal is your biggest tool when it comes to dreamwork! Using the dream journal on a daily basis in the morning (just reporting your any recall you have from sleep, doesn't have to be dream content if you don't remember it at first) trains your brain to build dream recall naturally. Using your dream journal also helps you spot patterns in your dreams and opportunities you can use to realize when you're dreaming. It's also great for decoding your own unique dream symbolism, and tracking energy that's being processed through the psyche. It also helps me lucid dream more when I read through my journal and look at what got me lucid. So many benefits!

I wanted to tell you I had an eerily similar first obe as you! It was before I saw your video but had the same thing happen where my leg felt like it was slipping off the bed. I kept pulling it back up but it was almost like the bed was an angle and finally it just pulled me off the bed. Also I was hearing the same sound like there was an A.M. radio or tv switching stations. I walked around the house and eventually laid back down but as I came to I realized the position I was in wasn’t the same as my body. The moment I realized this my “astral” body merged with my actual body and woke up stunned. Since then have had many more but was shocked when I ran across you video!!! Thanks for all the tips ❤

@@TheLucidMystic same here, that’s the main way for me too. Now I recognize it and go with slippin of the bed. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if I’m really falling off the bed but so far I’ve not woken up on the floor lol. Usually it’s a leg or arm but last time went off head first and spun in circles until I gained control 😂😂😂. Idk if it’s real or all generated by the brain but the experience is so profound I figure it doesn’t matter.

this is so helpful, there's so much practical advice. I always thought I never got anywhere close to an obe or a lucid dream, but I often experience the hypnagogic imagery and the rollover signal when I try, so this is so helpful! especially because I'm more of a skeptic about things, so going over exactly what your brain is doing and why is so helpful for me! Thank you!

I have been astral projecting my whole life, sleep paralysis is what happens when you come back into your bodies own energy field and confusion happens ,This may feel like suffocation anxiety attack and being very hot (picture elephant on chest)and most people freak out , Through that fear entities /shadow people come and this is why you have so many stories of folks seeing them during paralysis, if you want to astral project meditating into sleep paralysis is the last and most backwards thing you can do , Try laying back and bluring your eyes while staring at the ceiling and practice rolling back into third eye .
