my buddy has this batch, and GOOD GOD i loved it.

I'm not a canadian whiskey fan, but have my 3rd bottle of Caribou. It was the bottle that drew my attention. For a Canadian, it's much better than most of the competition. (Looking at you CR). I got my bottles before this was "discovered" and the price was $40. It was also common on the shelf. Not so any longer.

Now that Russells 15 has been out a while… how do you feel about POAC vs. Russells 15?

I would love to hear your thoughts on B524 in comparison to C924. I’ve bought a back up of B524 because it opens up to an absolute monster of a pour (in my opinion).

Is the C 922 good for 90 bucks?

I'll likely never get to try the C923 but I'm really enjoying the B524 and C924.

I still have one more unopened c923. Got the c924 but haven’t opened it just yet. Trying to kill a few bottles before I open anything new.

Kentucky Spirit is their single barrel 101 proof offering at about 8 years old! The camp nelson ones are fantastic.

Found one in mid michigan last week, very good and worth the $50 , better than MGP sourced juice at over twice the price 👍😉

I went to Wild Turkey a couple years ago. Jimmy Russell was at the gift shop just sitting around, chatting with visitors and signing bottles on a Friday afternoon. Super nice guy, we got a couple bottles and he signed them which was pretty cool. He certainly did seem to be more on the mascot side of things as opposed to master distiller at this point. Still glad I got to meet him.

Hasn't hit my area yet but it has been just about everywhere else from the reviews I've seen. Hope I see it before it's gone.

I tried all three the regular, Bonded, and Rickhouse. I like them all but surprisingly I liked the Basic one best. worth the cost, by far!

2013 THH was so incredibly good. When I first found out about Handy around 2012, I had it in a sazerac at an upscale restaurant in Nashville when out for a business dinner ($18 cocktail seemed insane at the time). Soon after, I found several bottles at a local shop at MSRP. I'd splurge and buy one a month and drink it straight, make old fashioneds, sazeracs, whatever else required a higher proof rye. After my sixth trip to the shop that year, I asked why there were none left on the shelf. That's when I learned about the annual BTAC releases. The next year (2013) it won world whiskey of the year and became nearly impossible to find afterwards. Simpler times.

I prefer the gold most the time, but I do find that some SFTB need to sit opened for a while and they get less hot and open up a bit which makes them better than the gold. The gold doesnt open up as well.

I got mine for 72 in Michigan if I recall a few months ago, I’ve enjoyed the 2 drams I’ve had from Caribou Crossing, doesn’t need any drops of water but I’d give it a solid 5 out of 10 nosing and taste. Not offensive but wish it was 43-46 percent ABV but wouldn’t buy another bottle. Agreed the bottle is more of an experience than the whisky.

Just got a 10 year store pic as a club member . It's really good ! Only 48 bottles came from that Barrel .
