Always the best for Richard! People are not perfect, we all have faults and weaknesses. Triumphing over faults and weaknesses of any kind is progressing and aging with a sense of pride and achievement. Richard is an amazing singer and a true artist. This man has probably sacrificed so much for his craft and artistic visions, but all trolls will think is one song. Some people thrive on gossip, because they have nothing of worth going on in their own meaningless lives. To attack a stranger, albeit a legendary singer, or celebrity or any one with fame, one has to look deep into one’s self and ask “Am I jealous of their achievements, and if I point out their faults will I feel better about my own lack or worth and faults and weaknesses?” The Verve got me through some very long periods of isolation, and although I don’t know Richard or the gang, I feel obligated to defend him because they not knowing it helped me so long ago.
