Amazing lecture jazakallah Khayr for this sheikh. Only one suggestion, there are background sounds every few seconds that seem like noise from the audience that were quite distracting. Not sure if this issue is resolved in later episodes. But nonetheless the content itself was very beneficial may Allah bless you sheikh and reward the team

What about situations where someone is hired to complete a project, they hire employees and an employee behaves negligent in a way outside the employers control, is the employer liable with the employee liable to them?

Dr. Hatem Al-Haj, I didnt wake up this morning thinking of my quest for this knowledge but here I am. My search to understand why I feel the way I do, when I talk about Allah has somehow led me this book. I am looking forward to soak in as much as I could through your lectures, though I know the real reflection on what has been said comes without words. May Allah protect you and your wisdom. I noticed how your tone changes on certain moments during the lectures and as a listener - I am moved too. May Allah keep your heart soft and your faith strong. 49:20 Another word that could work in this context is "venerating" or "showing admiration" for sin. ALLAH(SWT) says in the Qur'an: "... and those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment." (Qur'an 9:34) Here, "give them tidings" (بَشِّرْهُم) is typically associated with positive news, but in this context, it is used ironically to announce the punishment awaiting those who disobey. So, "appreciation of sin" is more appropriation than "recognition of sin" which doesn't fit well in the context. And ALLAH(SWT) knows best!
