Wouldn't want to stay on Las Vegas Blvd now. Best to stay what they call "off strip" or downtown. From Circus Circus you could walk down to Sahara Ave. Only five to seven minutes walk then turn left and go down to Palace Station. There were a few casinos I liked that are no longer there.

Honestly I have not driven the EX , but for my version civic sport 2.0L 4D with CVT have not felt the transmission is weak
