I love this guy. My sponsor recommended him to me. Joe Hawk speaks so clearly, so logically, and most important to me - he speaks from the heart. He doesn’t always tell me what I want to hear. But he always tells me what I need to hear.

Awesome 12th step, thank you Sarah, I heard the message, I am driving home from work, wasn't expecting to make so many connections thru your story, suffering and recovery, one alcoholic sharing with another, what a beautiful thing!

I've been in a 10 year sobriety slump. I rediscovered this talk and it has reinspired me to take the actions to get back to where I was in my recovery. Chris is amazing.

I am the ONLY woman in the group I attend in Dodge City, KS. We inly have 2 AA groups here. The other group is a therapy group. No thank you. It rough sometimes. I'm 9 yrs sober and the obsession has lifted along time ago.

Nowhere absolutely nowhere in the big book does it say taking mental illness meds is a violation of sobriety! Old timers have to stop suggesting ppl on needed medication are doing a less than program! A person could kill someone with that shit!!!!!! The brain is an organ just like all the others. It has its ability to function incorrectly. If u r not a medical dr or that persons personal physician STOP suggesting they get off their meds!!! U would not tell a diabetic to “just apply the 12 steps to it” or if someone wanted to have different colored eyes, “just 12 step it & poof it’ll be fixed”. No, these r biological aspects of the human body that a recovery program will not change. AA saved my life. It has saved thousands of lives. I will forever be grateful to it but I will not be delusional enough to believe it is a catch all, end all, be all of all the areas of life. With that said, this was a fantastic speaker tape. Lots of great information, suggestions & help. I hope it helps many.

I SO wish I had this AA available to me. Zoom introduced me to emotional sobriety, how can one maintain it, when AA is so fractured in my area in Australia. May god lead me to an Eskimo. Physical abstinence will not save me from the illness. 🙏🏽🕉️

I was lead to The Mad Dog Recovery through a dream God sent me to lead myself and others home. Stay clean, stay sober Mrs. Megan because God is diligently at work to change lives in a way like no other spirit can!!! He’s coming to take us home and we will all have white coats washed in the blood of the Lamb !! I will be praying for everyone, pray for one another. I’m trying to lead my boyfriend but he’s still at that place where a meet and God is like, the last thing he believes will open the doors. Soon in God’s time, I pray he sees and is free like you are Megan . Blessings to you love ❤

To each his own but many people use on line meetings as an excuse not to do the work that is suggested. I have spoken with several who attend an online meeting every day and are sit with their phone in one hand and a drink in the other. There is no, "Willing to go to any lengths". Just sayin...
