Make sure blocks are 6.5” before putting in block. Some of mine were a fraction off so didn’t get a 12.5 block. Also cut off pesky dog eats after ironing!

Thanks for your advice, it does help guide me. My biggest problem now is how to pick and arrange colours on a table runner. Should the featured squares in the centre be dark or light, do you go darker as you work your way to the outside or do you go lighter?
