I especially liked the beautiful lady at the end. What a lucky guy her husband was.

It just gets me everytime The Beatles "All You Need Is Love" comes on amid the chaos, as Patrick McGoohan, Leo McKern, Alexis Kanner and Angelo Muscat fight back. What superb acting as well from Kenneth Griffith as The President. Just pure chaos breaking out. A show that was way ahead of its time, and is even more relevant today than ever.

One of my favourite episodes is ‘Hammer into Anvil’ where #6 slowly but surely turns the tables on #2, effectively making him subject to fear & paranoia, and ultimately breaking him. It’s a most satisfying watch!

Unnuanced drama which unfortunately fails to provide balance makes for tv of a sort

Would watch the series with interest back in the 60’s, not this outrageous episode that nothing made any sense, and a total waste of time and effort.

I didn't realise that it was only England who fought against the boers or England was the collective noun for the British empire. I'm pretty sure Scotland Ireland and the Welsh fought in South Africa under the Union flag

Wonderful final episode of the fabulous series... Really good clear version... IMO the closing credits are the BEST ever shown on any TV programme... The assembly of the Penny Farthing co-ordinates perfectly with that lovely catchy theme music... At the very end, we have a prolonged view of the rear support strap in position, as the last piece of the assembly, until the fade out ( that did not happen on all the earlier episodes ).....

Some of these line deliveries are just as strange. They seem unnecessary and off kilter. He's kind of hamming it up for the sake of hamming it up I guess.

I've started a few other of these videos and a theme is definitely appearing. Most of the videos are pretty strong statements of anti-imperialism whether that be in India, Africa or Ireland. Before I even watch it I've started to wonder whether he's going to give more credit to the Mogul invaders then he does to the British though they are both just Invaders of a land that doesn't belong to them. Going off of what I've seen so far from the other videos I'm going to guess that he does. I'm also an aging liberal so I don't hold it much against him.😊

Maybe, the Uitlanders were just as suspicious of British rule as they were the Boers, giving them the franchise might have staved off the war and they could have carried favor with maybe non Boer all over SA for a United SA under Boer control

My parents remember the accident at 1984 and it really was a shame bc my dad said that the collision was an accident but the press ripped her to shreds. She even said no one even asked for her side of the story.
