I’m confused. The title of this video says 1000 pro but you keep saying 1000 plus. I know that they are two different models. Please clarify.

Thank you for pointing that out! You’re absolutely right-there’s a mix-up in my video. The title should mention the Jackery 1000 Plus instead of the 1000 Pro. I appreciate your patience and for bringing this to my attention. I’ll make corrections to ensure the comparison and naming are accurate. Thanks for watching and helping me improve!

Thanks for pointing that out! That was an error on our end-the label should have said 'Flip 5' in that part of the video. I appreciate you catching that!

Why Jackery Sucks: I recently purchased two Jackery Explorer 1000 v2, and one 200-watt solar panel. With one of the power stations, if I want to run my 550-watt window air conditioner the power station turns off when the AC compressor turns on. This is NOT supposed to happen, and I can't find out online what the problem is. The second power station doesn't have this problem. I've had the power stations and 200-watt solar panel for only one month, having used it around 10 times, and one of the only two solar panel kickstands is already beginning to break off; I'm guessing it's because I live in central Arizona and the plastic fold can't handle high summer heat -- the kickstand fold is up at the top where it's exposed to sunlight/heat whereas other brands have this fold lower so it's in a shadow. I'm also unhappy that there is no kickstand in the center of the panel, only on the ends, because when set up the center always sags and doesn't face the sun the same way as the ends do, so you need to use something to prop the center up; I use a cynder block. Lastly, the two-prong connector to the solar panel is extremely finicky because after connecting the cable to the power station it often registers as 0 watts input, so after going out and fiddling with the two-prong connection to the solar panel about ten times it will finally work properly; the connector to the solar panel should be some sort of click-on attachment rather than loose fitting since that end of the cable cord is always bent/curved at the connection point! Customer support gave me a lousy 5% refund on this solar panel. I later contacted their marketing department (with photo of breaking kickstand) since I have a KZbin channel and plan to make a review of this product, and never received a reply from them, so now I'm going to make a harshly critical video about this power station and the solar panel. My advice is to purchase other brands like Bluetti or Oupes because you cannot use other solar panels with a Jackery -- Jackery makes everything proprietary so that you're stuck using only their overpriced solar panels and cables/connectors!

Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 and the solar panel issues. It's really valuable feedback, especially for anyone considering solar power options for their devices. The difficulties with the AC compressor, fragile kickstand, connector issues, and limited compatibility are definitely concerns worth highlighting. I'm sorry to hear customer support didn't resolve it to your satisfaction. A review comparing alternatives like Bluetti or Oupes could really help others make informed decisions. Thanks again for contributing to the conversation!
You forgot the power consumption! 3W versus 5W ist a difference from 60%! For home users for sure an interesting detail! The GS308 saves ~16.5 Kw per year! It’s around 6 € in Germany….

Connected our Ooma phone setup one of the Gig ports on the Nighthawk and its communicating correctly. I thought there might be a ethernet negotiation problem but there wasnt, it connected just fine.

I had a bad experience with Netgear modem many years ago. WiFi radio module stopped working. So it turns into regular modem. And I had to buy a separate router for WiFi. Now, I am doing a lot of research to replace my old ASUS modem. And l found many complaints from the Netgear owners. It is a big chance that the Wireless Internet will fail in about one year. Same problem which I had a years ago. Netgear keep doing low quality.

@@TheDawgButter I had the Arris G36 for about a year now and although the cable modem performance is very good, the phone app has been terrible. Looking at Amazon reviews many people have similar concerns and the device is now listed as a "frequently returned item". I just ordered the Netgear AX6 ax2700 so we will see how it goes.

Yes I have experienced this as well, mine lasted a mere 2 years, then tech support said my product was out of warranty & they wanted $100 to help me troubleshoot it 🤡. Needless to say, I hung up on them, drove myself to Walmart, spent that exact $100 on an Arris & problem was solved in a mere 20 minutes after fiddling with Netgear b/s for hours on end, PLUS my internet has never been more stable / consistent. In Summary ; DO NOT BUY NETGEAR PRODUCTS

The Arris G36 also has 1x 2.5Gbps port and the Netgear CAX80 has a Coax cable
