What we got with masquerade is pretty much what I expected from duel quests in general when they originally released, no self contained defi capsule gear check, no nonsense, just 1v1 with a boss that ramps up in difficulty. The drops are a nice bonus too, the capsules that drop and the resulting craft we can get look like a nice side grade for those who want it and it is not something that only works for duel quests... by the way did I say I dislike the defi capsule system? because I do.

Since you mentioned Barta T3. Would Gibarta T3 help with obtaining Barta T3 maximum dps. This combo would reduce the blot requirements from 7 to 5.

Yes, I think the debate comes down to whether or not the 20% compound bonus is more beneficial than the ability to pop barta blot 1 more frequently.

Cuz me monkey brain don't read DPS charts, I just smack in ways that feel cool to me muscle memory so I assumed it was the same DPS and didn't think too much into why my compound techs were charging so fast. spellblade keeps winning.

Right now I have switched Tri-Shield with Bring Down PB, of course the risk is that you give up any protection. However, after the realization in this video this whole EX combo might be changed entirely. I need to lay around with things more.

Even the newer enemies has the shit black and red body color, why they are not making anything colorful like base pso2 I really don't understand, with this coloring scheme all enemies look the same to me.

I would hope so, but my team doesn't feel it's "safe and controlled" enough. Nevermind that we're spoiled for i-frames and healing in NGS, and that AoE damage practically balances itself out... Maybe this vid will change their minds. ;)

I think gradual pressing / Lively hp/ tri shield are still the go to. You just need to be conscious of the content you use te/bo for as it's faster downs can be problematic at times.

Gigrants t3 is my favourite of these new modifcations. Our first set and forget it spell. Only can have 1 up but it has a very wide range and hits everything in a pse burst for example. Great visual updates on all the spells as well.

Foie looks weird to me. It became a fireball inside of a disk. I don't know how I feel about it. Most of the other techs look good, though. Megid I kinda like the look of, but it seems a bit too solid, I guess?

My only complaint about the force update is that it's making me spend 10 bucks to get an extra skill setup for both Techter and Force cause I keep swapping between Te/Fo and Fo/Te depending on my mood or the content and I'm not manually changing the skills each time lol.

For DFD specifically we now can leave the lingering spell on a fragment while we are forced to rotate instead of just leaving a heal and shifta field. It's great.

Its good to know how similar the dps values are. If all combos are going to be about the same then it makes it much more fun to play the "what is the best tool I can use for the boss" game as opposed to "how am i getting this swift smash off" game.

If techs get another buff and/or tech arts have actual value. I would say yes. Right now wave crash won out just because it got buffed and there was nothing to really balance it out.

For this I am only using my Wix 5 Triselio and Wingard Blast 5 (PB only). I can get away with Wix with no issue other than Ragne. However, weapon swapping on Ragne delays my down state, which in previous trials before this quest would cost me time, Augs for the weapon are: EX Gradual Press/ PB Endure / Risky Stance / Lux Half / Gran Gladia / GDK2 / Addi parfait My Tri/Duo Ekstasis Augs are: Gran Gladia / Grand Giga Maste / Lux / Giga Tryal / Highstira Domina / GDK2 / Addi Pairfait

Storyline explains that this is the data pulled from the old Arks, but it was incomplete. One of the side effect is the color. Lame yes, but it has a "purpose".

It's definitely a questionable attack. Though I believe it's designed for more long range weapons and just stuff from base pso2 that doesn't transfer over well.

If you use a blank weapon you just need to avoid attacking with that weapon. Yku can effectively swap with a 1 star if you want, there are just more constraints you place on yourself. Having equal power/fixa gives you some flexibility to attack before swapping back.
