Hi, Recommended PC Configuration: Intel Core TM i5-4430 processor or comparable product. Intel Itanium microprocessors are not supported. 2 GB of free disk space for Installation. 8 GB RAM ( 16GB would be better) Graphics card with at least 2 GB RAM and OpenGL support. We recommend graphics cards with NVidia GeForce chips, e.g. NVidia GeForce GTX 660 Best performance would be CAD-certified cards like Nvidia T500 as an example.

Hi, Yes, you can. By changing to face or feature to apply a treatment or color where you require. there will be a Select drop-down at the top of the style palette, then you can change it from any to body, face, or feature to determine where and how you need to apply the color.

Hi, Yes NX VR lic will be required. You can however deploy Nvidia Omniverse and export your NX project taking into Omniverse directly to simulate a VR environment as well. here are some instructions to guide you: Install and deploy the Nvidia Omniverse Launcher Download via the exchange tab the following packages: -USD Explorer -Create XR -ISaac Sim Setup the environment and import your project. Enjoy!!

I know Solid Edge is good at large assemblies, but it would be good to tell how many parts are in this assembly that you are manipulating?

Hi, So to give you an idea on how powerful and seamless it is. I have 3 projects open in NX (separately) , with TIA portal, PLCsim running and Solid Edge with two big projects. The one project in Solid Edge is 2.5k parts and the other 48 417 parts which are 3 big industrial machines on a factory floor. It handles all that together with my other programs I am using along side it like a walk in the park.
