Don't like the chains on the back, they will rattle when put down and will scratch the chrome railing!

Barletta puts heat shrink on areas where rattling can occur so it won't be loud, Barletta is the quietest riding pontoon in the industry. It is also 316 Stainless so it won't scratch!

No, you can also get Yamaha on most Barletta models or you can order the boat without an engine and add your own. However, the Reserve is specifically Mercury.

Where exactly did you see this starboard gate you speak of? Other than boarding at the stern (no fencing or gate), the only means of boarding this requires climbing over the fence and seating or the helm. Any chance you watched the video in a separate room, with the assistance of a mirror? A little something that helps newbie’s…when facing the bow (the front of a boat), the port side is to your left and the starboard is to your right. (Port and left consists of 4 letters each. And while it may not represent every boat or person the brightest person onboard should be the one behind the helm, on the starboard side.😂 I’m just having a bit of fun.

My 2000 Pontoon had both port and starboard gates. It was really nice having both. My 2016 doesn't have a starboard gate.

@@Scott144K, I know there are boats with port and starboard gates. There are also boats the only a starboard gate, I’m actually with @PhilD22 regarding manufacturers choosing to do that. I was attempting to be funny but what did sound hilarious in my head, I know see it reads as mean sarcasm on a chat board to people who do not know me and are unable to audible and visual queues that would’ve made that more clear.

Lol so many yamaha homers in the comments hating on the boat for no reason lmao.. You guys look bad! Why isn't it possible to just appreciate and like all different brands of jet boats?.. Theres pros and cons to all brands, and if nothing else competition just keeps each manufacturer on their toes and forces them to innovate and stay on top of the game! Me personally I could give a shit less what brand of boat I buy, but I can definitely say I 100% like the looks of the scarab and vortex options a million times better than the basic look of the yamaha.. Yamaha interiors are faaaar behind when it comes to looks and quality when compared to the vortex or scarab, and if you say it's not youre lying to yourself! Me personally I like the option to choose a matching interior and choose from more than 1 or 2 color options on the outside. This video is older and even today here in 2021 yamaha still only offers 1 color of interior on the "cheaper" models. Also Rotax has become to be a very reliable option and also I have multiple BRP certified dealers close by to service any Rotax motor out there making the scarab or vortex a better option when it comes to service needs. Stop hating and making yourselves look like douchebags, who gives a fuck what brand of boat someone goes with, just get out on the water and have a good time! 🤙

I love how the majority of these features are on the Yamaha. The benefit of buying that boat is it will be a little faster.... the downside is that it will only be fast in the beginning of the season because the rest of the year that Seadoo engine will be doggy styling your bank account while sitting in the shop all summer.

BRP Rotax engines if they are the same as the jet ski rotax..............supercharger washer issues on them big time wouldn't touch them with a barge pole

They solved that issue in 2008 by switching to steel washers.

Right, Just like the jet pump bearings. I'd gladly change supercharger bearings. Its simple. Or just buy a rebuilt one for 600 bucks. I like to do my own wrenching though.
