it's the same.... hold PA button until gear consumed then hold it gain until 2nd gear consumed... then press your weapon action button...

Personally it helps to look at you gears and when one disappears that’s when you let go and hold it again hope this helps

You are actually supposed to hold and then tap hold it again...tap hold meaning holding the button the same time as you click it.....

Just wanting to make sure... The first one always has to be an extended/brand, but the second hit can be a brand or a normal PA/JA? Also, it seems like when that red flash appears is when you do the weapon action, if I'm not mistaken? o:

As far as I can remember, you need to do Extended PA > Extended PA (or Enhanced Arts? I forgot the name), so any extended PA will work, for example brand > brand or brand > slug or fleuchette > slug, whatever the extended PA is, as long as have enough gear. Red flash appear when you do extended PA or normal attack combo, there maybe other way but this is the one I know of.

It took so long to figure this one out , okay for anyone just started to try it . How I mastered it 1-Do any PA not only brand 2- pay attention to the normal version of this PA and the enhanced version of it 3- most important . Make sure u got two bars available on ur gear 4- do enhanced PA . AND . Look so close to the extra attacks that happen on the enhanced PA . AND repeat same skill before enhanced one u started finish Simplified formula Brand (normal) = 4 hits Brand (enhanced) = 7 hits Extra hits happen are 3 hits In the window of those 3 extra hit do another enhanced brand . Do not wait till 3 extra hit finish . If u done it right it will be Brand (enhanced) = 7 hits (Hold brand again on last 3 hits) Extra (enhanced) = 3 hits Then WA for the quick shoot it's not hard when u pull it first couple times you will get used on it fast Best luck and practice is key

Your Phantom build both terrifies me and inspires me to become better XD Do have a couple questions if you don't mind you seem to know this class very well the speed your casting techs must mean you have Tech Short Charge how good is that skill for Phantom, and what charges the Phantom Gear to use Phantom Time/Finish? I've never had the luxury to play in translated JP so my Phantom didn't get built very well and I wasn't able to get much knowledge with the class but it is my favorite for playstyle by far so when it rolls around on NA I want to do the class justice this time ^_^

Tech short charge is really essential in Ph even as a sub, as it reduce charge time drastically, even with the lower power, it's very good combined with Sprint and Stealth tech charge. Phantom gear fill up overtime iirc, and it's really slow to fill up. It's good for getting Phantom mark up faster as well as reducing PP cost. If you don't know yet, this class can play 3 weapon (Katana, Rifle, and Rod), if you want to play at least 2 weapon, you'll need a DEX mag :)

@@shutenchan I did play it on JP but since I was on PS4 I had very poor translations from my phone so I had a horrible build but I did play it I love how both Rod and Rifle play on it my only sadness is I was told both complex and simple fuse techs can't be used on Phantom

@@Leilyse You can play it again on PC using tweaker, or you can just wait until it released on NA version, since hero is out already so it shouldn't be that long :)

@@shutenchan Sadly that's not possible to get Tweaker for my JP account I no longer have my password and I can't recover it from Sega's JP website T_T No matter though been getting more done on my NA account since I can actually understand what I'm doing XD

wahh.... this is crazy am I a noob or what even with the keys on the screen I still cant get timing of that 1st ja. update stayed at rockbear for at least 2 hr+ and made it work once

Basically, hold PA key to consume gear until first JA disappear, release and hold PA key again to consume gear until 2nd JA disappear (it's called Enhance Combo). Hold PA key (consume gear) > First JA > Release key + hold it again > 2nd JA > Wait until animation done > JA appear + quick take window > use WA for quick shoot

Good question, according to DPS chart, with both has 2 gear, it goes like : Brand QS Combo = Brand + Enhanced x2 + QS = 1951 Normal Brand Combo = (Brand + Enhanced Brand)x2 = 1918 It does have slightly more dps than just spamming brand with gear. Though if you add Flechette in normal brand combo, you'll get slightly higher DPS. QS combo is known to be more PP efficient.
