Thanks for making this so quick and easy. I'm brand new to crocheting and my beginners book didn't really explain what an increase was so this video was really helpful!

Thank you so much for this. Just came out of a horrible crochet class, I mean, I learned nada, zip, zero and this video, like magic, showed me the light. You are amazing. Thank you.

Thank you for showing the complete step. I've come to the realization with this age of anyone can post a video "tutorial", that their are teachers and then there are enthusiasts. Enthusiasts often don't understand the need to teach something properly or may not even know they don't possess all the knowledge and skills to teach something properly. I'm not saying to teach a skill you have to have Uni level education but you do need to understand the fundamentals of a craft in order to share the basics to allow a student to build on and grow. This all encompassing happy solgan that has bred like unwanted mold (imo) of "there are no rules". Ugh. Those that encourage this saying truly don't understand that they may not like the term "rules" but there are rules. Or a better term would be "fundamentals, basics, foundations" that everyone new to a craft needs to know. Not this blithering nonsense of, "there are no rules".

What does "chain one" mean? Can you explain it like I'm a dad who has never crocheted in his life but who gave his 9 year old daughter a Wooble for Christmas which she then unraveled the magic circle and now he's trying to salvage the gift??

As a beginner crocheter, I thank you slowly showing and demonstrating each new process. Other tutorials either move too fast or hide the stitch with their fingers! It's infuriating!

I'm using your video as an instruction for a pattern I'm making. I'm just putting a link at the top to demonstrate how to change colors in a way that's easier to explain because I'm bad at that for some reason.
