That is pretty good for a first project. I wonder if the sewing glue they sell would help with the fraying? Possibly worth a try to stop the fraying from getting worse. Its a wonder the borrowed machine for your first project did not put you off sewing. I think it would have me 😂 Although I learnt to sew on a pedal machine and survived that experience 😊 I popped over when I saw your dress on your instagram page to watch this.
