Quest downgrade SPL this is considered a downgrade denying OTA. I tried multiple methods and it gets 43/47% through "serving" then either reboots headset or gives me this message and I'm stuck on v66 trying to downgrade to v60. Can you help me please?

This worked for me. I have an MSI Alpha 15 with a RX5300M. Everything is WAY smoother now and the games are launching correctly. Before this, I would (seemingly) randomly get black screens and terrible stuttering. It makes sense that Windows would choose different cards at different times. Thanks for the help ❤

Dude, you don’t need a link cable you just need a PC and oculus. Do something for Airlink.

@@philneitz I am just old and not very tech savvy. I keep getting that openvr failed to initialize message and getting frustrated. And steamvr keeps telling me my graphics card isn't compatible but I think I have a fairly good one.

My link cable was a TYPE A to TYPE C and the whole thing was caused because i didn't plug it in the "USB 3.2" on my PC... for those who don't know 3.2 is Type C and the Oculus headset is a type C... don't be a retard like me and check which USB port you are plugging your link cable to. P.S if there is no text just look for the usb port that is blue in color.

Was hoping this would fix my major FPS drop/stutter black screen when moving after a few minutes using the link cable. For example the starting section of Asgard's Wrath in the temple its fine until the second look direction, sometimes third, then FPS goes to 1 FPS. Same thing in Alyx, can barely get past the start menu. Using an Alienware M17 R3 with a 2070 Super, 16 gb ram and an Intel i7-10750H. Meta support sent me a new headset, but new headset has the same problem. Using a Syntech 16ft Link Cable. Very frustrated!

Hey there! This is unfortunately a limitation of Oculus themselves - they're not supporting the 3050 series because of the low VRAM amount :( What WILL work though is the Quest App "Virtual Desktop" when your WiFi is decent

Can someone help. My virtualdekstop is black, but I can see the mouse moving, and it's actually moving on my laptop, too. I have watched a lot of video and did what they did. But i still have this issue smh.

I tested the steamvr performance test as well as the Oculus cable test, and it was all good. I had first black screen, which I fixed smh. But now, when i wanna open a virtual dekstop, i can only see my mouse nothing else.

@@nemanmomand have you followed my steps in this video? try the same with the all the .exe files in the C:\Program Files\Virtual Desktop Streamer and C:\Program Files\Virtual Desktop folders. Then restart. Then go to AMD.com and download the newest driver for you integrated AMD GPU (this is the most important step). Install it and also do a reboot. It should work now

@philneitz I just tried every step of yours, I must say it got way smoother. But my issue is still unfixed. When I click on the virtual dekstop, it's still black, and I can only see my mouse, nothing else.

Which exact laptop model and which Oculus Headset? If its a Quest1/2 you NEED to download the latest AMD iGPU driver from AMD.com because the one that Windows installs automatically (and "updates" automatically over Windows Update) is not suitable for Link, even after my shown steps.

@@konradowicz1162 Thunderbolt is a different type of protocol.. which exact Laptop model are u using? You can Google for "USB c dp alt mode symbol" and compare it on the connector chassis. The CV1 max Resolution is achievable with this adaptor
