I was always taught not to worry about stuff I have no control over. It just makes a person a nervous wreck. All we can do now is wait and see what happens.

"The customer is always right in matters of taste" is the original phrase. It was a statement in retail to let the customer buy the ugly thing. It's not carte blanche to get whatever you want just because you're spending money.

I’ve heard far too many stories of people losing their stuff when they fly to places because of baggage claim losing bags. If I ever fly somewhere that’s probably what I’d be most worried about

In fairness, it does still happen regardless of airline. I haven't had it happen to me yet, but working at a hotel I have had a non zero number of times where a guest has told me they were waiting for luggage to be delivered. I had that concern last week when traveling with a musical instrument...

I don't watch too many shows on TV, but spend lots of time on here. The last show I watched was Ted Lasso which was incredible (and did it without going past the preview dates), and before that I can remember watching all of Chernobyl which was incredible. I mostly stay on here and watch different creators. Oatsngoats is someone I watch fairly regularly, as well as Babish, and I also look up lots of VGM videos. Other than that, my rest days usually involve me playing randomizers on the computer.

I know you don't need advice, and that's not what this is 😁 Gosh you did such a great thing at this event! Someone was going to have to be 8th. You're still a great gamer either way. I hope you can continue to do these events no matter how you rank, just for the fun and the helpfulness of it. I'm the type that succeeds without pressure but crumbles in competitive situations. You're clearly not like me and are used to more success during competition or else you probably wouldn't have felt a little down. I'm always last in competitions, but I keep doing them 😂 Thanks for all you did for the kids! I'd never heard about this charity idea before, so cool! You processed everything positively after the fact too. I know you don't need compliments either 😂 Just wanted to share my feedback

Haven't done as much lately, as I've been bogged down building a new home for my computer, but hoping to do that a bunch soon.
