I had one get stuck in the nest up in the chimney it was a challenge but we managed to get him/her out. She ruptured an airsack and blew up like a little balloon. So I had to get a syringe pull the thing you press in off and cleaned the skin with peroxide and pushed the needle in just at the surface, and all of the air escaped. The bird started chirping after that pressure was released. The other day we took cookie (the name we picked) to the store with our little dog buster and while we were inside he laid on cookie. We literally got to cookie right before she expired. I was losing my mind I was so sad. However cookie pulled through. This little bird is tough and after feeding every hour on the hour I have become attached. It is a great experience for sure 👌

Oh My God - what a way to ruin a tooth! You don't have to do anything other than put it in a 50-50 mix of apple cider vinegar and water for a week - you can push off the barnacles with your fingernail. It preserves the enamel too.

I’ve found the soft net traps catch 10x the mud minnows, they can’t escape as easy when you pull it. I make calls of cat food and flake fish food like meatballs freeze them and after a 10 minute soak I get 20 per trap.

Hi! So a baby chimney swift just dropped down my chimney yesterday. It just hatched with no feathers and eyes are still closed. I put it outside in a shoe box for a couple of hours, until it started to rain, waiting for the mother to come back. It is now inside in the shoe box. No sign of the mother at all. What did you feed the babies the first few days of life?
