Japanese taxis often have a mechanism to open the rear passenger side door from the drivers seat. I've never seen on on a regular car though

Sorry, but this Engine is definitly not a injection one which uses the Kugelfischer Einspritzanlage. This Engine which is shown in the Video is a carburator fitted one.

Yes, that is my observation as well. I did own a 67 1.8 Berlina with a carburetor. The engine in the video looks identical. Beautiful car though.

Yes, I have the kugelfischer system and all its parts in a box! The previous owner removed it due to failure I believe! Anyhow, it will soon be refurbished and reinstalled. It left the factory as a 1.8 injection and soon will be again 👍

I was tempted by this car in Bologna too. Very nice. The year before I bought a lovely little RHD Appia from the show in Padua. I’ll plan to get there earlier this year!

You are quite right however there is a passion for performance oriented cars here in Malta and there is nothing to stop the owner from crossing over to Sicily and enjoy its power on the Continent.

compared to other BMW-I-BeVs, the iX3 is has all the options to a very lower price. And, most of the components are well engineered, due to mother, BMW-X3.

According to the federal HESCHLAVVO law, it is already forbidden in Switzerland to drive combustion engines on mountain passes from 2025. In France, the SCHLABOUBVE regulates that fossil vehicles that produce fine dust are prohibited in all cities from 2025. The BABVVO in Germany will bann exhaust gas pollution from 2027 and that is what will happen in entire EU also bann of all tires and brakes because of fine dust!!! !!!!

What about all the pollution created to manufacture normal cars? And to service them with filters and fluids and new parts every year? Not only that but they burn fuel and make lots of extra emissions every second that they are working. Yes, it takes more energy to make an EV than a normal car but then they use only a fraction of the energy to run. Scientists have calculated that the breakeven point is just 10,000km. That is, after just 10,000km the EV has made up for its initial manufacturing energy and it wins over the rest of its lifetime.

Top speed is limited to 45km/hr. Going uphill does have some effect on this but I must say that there is a lot of torque so the reduction in speed is less pronounced than many similar electric scooters I have tried. It will also depend on the riders' weight and if you have a pillion.
