Great video - I am surprised how perfume world has changed now vs 5 years ago when I was used to collect. My favorites were / are - Dior Homme Intense, Amen Pure Havane, MFK Oud Silk Mood, Victor and Rolf Spicebomb, Valentino uomo intense. Most liked notes being Iris, Amber and tobacco. Btw your video production quality is top notch

@@nupurdhatrak Like I am not aware of most of the scents you talk about about in your channel. Maybe you do more niche than designers or more middle eastern scents (did you grow up there?). 5 years back it was mostly blue / ambroxin fragrances (like Dior Sauvage, Blue de Chanel, Creed Aventus, YSL Y) that would be among influencers top picks.
@nupurdhatrak17 минут бұрын
Yes, I agree, those are some of the evergreen designer perfumes out there. I am also exploring and sharing my experiences with the niche perfumes because I feel they still sit a little under the radar in comparison to designers. It feels nice to build a community of like minded people who can talk about niche fragrances a little more! I hope you find something new that you enjoy wearing 😇

Hey Nupur! I would love to get your Opinion on Montale Arabians Tonka and Versace Eros EDP! Great video btw.
@nupurdhatrakКүн бұрын
Thank you! Sure, so far from what I’ve seen it checks all the boxes - Sugary tonka with some rose and slight oud ✅ - Projection is massive ✅ - Leaves an intoxicating trail that fills up the room ✅ In my opinion, most of the Montale fragrances check the last two boxes, (period). Although sometimes they do smell a little synthetic to me. Versace eros is an amazing pick as well, it’s a cult favorite! Fresh-sweet, mass appealing, one of the best compliment getters (if that counts) I’ll surely do a more in depth review of these soon ☺️

My favorite oud right now is ombre nomad by LV. My second favorite is oud by aaron terrence hughes. In third place id have to put purple oud by dior. I have plans on buying one of the MFK ouds. I want to sample all 6 but rn im leaning towards oud satin mood.
@nupurdhatrak7 күн бұрын
Ombre nomade - current stunner! Absolutely amazing picks and yes if you love your sweet candied rose-oud scents, you will love MFK’s oud satin mood, great investment. It will last you a very long time - you won’t use up much juice as it’s super potent and only a few sprays would get the job done!

2 years in niche journey and I’ve tested most ouds that I’ve wanted to test and I’ve trained my nose. Of all oud fragrances I always go back to Frederic Malle “The Moon” , that is my no. 1 oud. 2nd, 3rd and 4th place is a mix between Bortnikoff “Oud Maximus” , “Oud Monarch” and “Oud Loukoum” and 5th place would go to Nishane “Mana” . Honorable mentions would be Histoires de Parfums “Fidelis” and Mancera “Aoud Exclusiff” . Those two would be my dumb reach, easy going ouds.

Good recommendation :) If you're in Dubai you can checkout the Boruzz collection under Rassasi for Arabian style oud fragrances. I felt the ingredients, presentation and unboxing felt more premium when compared to Tomford Oud Wood. I recently bought the Rasasi Boruzz Indonesian Oud at Jumeirah Rassasi store in Dubai. The opening of Rassasi Boruzz Indonesian Oud is fresh citrusy and then transitions to oud with amazing dry down. Usually the oud fragrances I have tried before are potent and dark but this felt like an office space friendly one.

I fancied that you like Oud for Greatness, definitely a mysterious sophistication, it doesn't have real oud though but depth with that nutmeg and saffron makes it highly opulent. Also Serge Lutens L'orpheline, Imaginary Authors A City on Fire, Ex Nihilo Bois d'Hiver, Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady.. a few from my collection, try sampling these. Highly recommended!
@nupurdhatrak15 күн бұрын
Oh yes, I agree, it’s the darkness and the depth of the fragrance that makes it so good. The only perfume I have smelled with real oud is Rania J’s Shah’ryar - this has that real animalic, skanky oud. These seem pretty good just saw the notes of a few, will definitely try. Even if you can afford niche/designer, always try to save your money and go for middle eastern inspirations. Do note, not all are going to be equal, but many come pretty damn close. ;)
@Lionel21200116 күн бұрын
Not only do they come close but some like proud of you absolutely, liam grey, and afnan 9 pm tend to outperform the originals. You are usually paying a premium for the OG's brand. Perfumes are not that expensive to make - Albait has some great clones that offer little to no compromises in quality. Their Gentleman Reserve Privee is nearly indistinguishable from the OG and their Bvlgari Man in Black clone is better than the original not only in performance but also scent quality. Many Bvlgari and Creed clones also perform better than the originals - since the OGs are reformulated.

@nupurdhatrak I loved Dior Homme Intense edp and YSL La nuit de l'homme edp, long time ago. They were extraordinarily good, like 10 to 14 years ago. Then they changed. Besides these two, I've always liked Dolce and Gabbana The One edp. For summer DnG light blue intense is very good. Dior Sauvage edp is very good, all year, any occasion fragrance. Same goes for Chanel Bleu de Chanel edp. People have asked me about Armani Code Edp and Mont Blanc Legend. For formal occasions (suit, indoor AC), I like Chanel Platinum Egoiste and Dior Homme Parfum. Nasomatto Pardon is amazing. Nasomatto is a very very very good house for fragrances. The best house, by far, I've tried. Try them and tell us what you feel about them. There are so so so many. Givenchy, Bvlgari. I've never owned Tom Ford or Amouage, which I want to buy. Maybe some day. You have a lot of fragrances to buy and review. Just do your research, most importantly, give your honest opinion and keep making videos.
