I haven't really enjoyed this. The scent is not pleasant to me and I don't really see any noticeable benefits. I do however have oily hair - oily skin, scalp and hair - so it is in fairly good condition. I'm becoming more thankful for my oiliness as I get older. Fewer wrinkles, nice hair! Hi from Australia

Found the inkey list moisturizer at tkmaxx and added it at night time on my non adapalene nights, I have now worked up to using it at same time since so many moisturizers break me out. I have very sensitive rosacea and acne prone skin and it is helping a lot. You have to get used to the smell though behause of the 3% sulfur it also contains 😅

There isn't one thing best for a solar lentigo, it usually takes a combination of different things, first of all sunscreen, and patience. Here in Germany Hydroquinone is prescription, in which case your treating doctor would have individualized recommendations if it is preferable.

@@DoctorAnnethank you for your answer. i am in the Netherlands so here it is also with prescription. i wear sunscreen everyday and use g&g retinal 0,05. i am 42 years old and have this spot on my cheek like an old lady, it is probably due usage of the birth control pill in my younger years. That depends on how close to the face you wear it, but the bulbs in the CurrentBody one are certainly closer.

So basically there’s no science to support it. No peer reviewed articles. But she’s selling it as the most expensive unit at home. With gels that are outrageously expensive. So it’s a business model that stitches up it’s customers to think they’re fulfilling aims that will never be achieved. Wow. I’m not sure if I’m impressed or disgusted!

Well, there is the same amount of data as there is for other microcurrent devices like the NuFace, which is more than there is for many plant extracts sold. But it surely isn't a necessity for a good skincare routine. If that makes it different to the majority of brands out there, I don't know.

Well, yes, it can, but that doesn't mean it should. The more potentially irritating components you combine, the higher the risk of freaking out your skin.

You could, but as salicylic acid is aimed at oily skin, there would be better options for you out there I assume.

Is this safe for someone under treatment for cancerous tumors to use? How far does the radio frequency penetrate? Would it reach the brain?

I am confident in saying it does not reach the brain, but if it is safe to use under treatment needs to be discussed with your treating doctor. There is way too much nuance to say for an outsider and the brands in general will tell you not to use it if you are currently undergoing treatment for cancer or have needed treatment in the past.

Oh, I did that obsessively as a teen. I couldn't leave even the smallest pimple alone and afterwards I would scratch off the crusts repeatedly, rather than letting them heal. I just couldn't not do it. I would even squeeze out the pores on my nose until I looked like Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer. I have no idea, why I don't have scars or hyperpigmentation or such. Oh, I shuddered just now when you moved your hand over your face, immitating the searching motion for *something* to pick on. Brrrrr.

Yes, you can, but if it works for your skin depend on your skin type and other factors, there is no way of giving a general answer here. As for how long you would need to use it - that depends on what you want it to do. A sleeping mask is for hydration, so you should get that effect almost immediately.

I have been diagnosed with this and trichotillomania. My anxiety and massive depressive disorder are treated with SSRIs. Has made a massive improvement. As well as my Tret. Many people don't understand that one can be happy and suffer from clinical depression. Thanks for highlighting this issue. Hi from Australia

Update: The lactic acid in The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin + HA made my skin very sensitive and I've had to discontinue using it. Note: I was using it twice a day. Possibly using it once a day might have been better, but the damage is done and I'll not be using it again until my skin recovers, which could take a while.

I wonder if red light alone will be good or even alleviate melasma? I have been using Omnilux last 3 yes and I have developer spoty on my freckled skin. But the firmness (51) and shine are great, SO I wouldnt want to give up the mask completely😢.

I have melasma and was hoping to be able to use an LED mask, but unfortunately, I have read quite a few articles that day red light makes dark spots and melasma worse. 😪 Apparently, green light is best for dark spots/melasma, but I can't find an at-home device with a good reputation that uses green light.

Speaking solely from the data we have, it is the blue light that drives melasma, not the red light. But it is important to note that many brands use LED lamps that offer a spectrum rather than a distinct wavelength, which could mean you get unwanted effects. The thing is that sun spots tend to develop over the years, way after the damage occurred, so maybe they would have appeared anyway. There is no way to tell though, which I understand is frustrating.

@@melindajensen9881 I have seen devices offering green light, but to me that is a huge red flag - there is so little data on green light (same as yellow and pink and whatever else they offer) that I wouldn't confidently use them in a device, let alone promote it to others. The only somewhat robust data we have is on red, near infrared and blue, with blue having shown a negative effect on pigmentation.

@@renataq7592 That is something that often happens to those with freckles over the years sadly. Cute little dots turn into larger blobs of pigment.

That depends on your skin. It isn't the gentlest toner in my arsenal, so more aimed at oilier skin types.

Pls repl fr this ...i have sensitive skin..once i had mild rosacea....aftr consult wth doc..and folow thr prescription it gone..i jus use gentle facewash and gentle moisturizer daily wch was prescribed by doc..now i dnt hv rosacea or acne pblm..bt my pblm is, somtimes i get tiny pinkis painlesss bump near nose area ..it comes and gone automatically..i dnt know its any alergy break out or foliculitis or eczema or somewat..can u

If you have eczema, you should seek a doctors guidance for individual advice - one you see in person, not one on the internet. But yes, many people with eczema do tolerate it.
