Great instructional video sir. I am going to replace mine on 79 MC. I noticed that your original driver side had an oil fill cap and your replacement one did not. I have ordered new covers and there isnt a place for the oil fill. What am i missing?

My 2010 Malibu's sunroof started leaking after only 2 months. Dealer repaired it and said the tube had come disconnected. Started leaking again after a few months. Apparantly, Chevy made a very bad design in this system.

Hello, Ian located in Florida where it is hot most of the time. I bought this HHR 2009 with only 77k miles. It looks like new but with issues that make it feel like an old car. I am having issues with the water leaking on the passenger side but I notice that it is only when using the AC. The condensation from the AC it is getting stack inside and leaks. my question here is; Is there where I can clear up that little hole where condensation should be draining? I used my vacuum to suck the water from the little hole that should be drawing and I was able to collect about a gallon of water but I thought that was it, and it happen again. Any recommendations or how to fix this? Thank you in advance. Jorge in Clearwater, FL.

Clusters are no joke.

I am about to be 24 December 9th. I was diagnosed with cluster headaches 3 weeks ago. I’ve been suffering with them my whole life and never knew why. I doctors would say it’s just seasonal, but as I got older they got more painful and they increased. As we speak now I am not only dealing with cluster head aches 3-4 times a day that last 1-3 hours at a time, but I am struggling with extreme weight loss and chronic spinal pain. I am a stay at home dad, I have no income and I am fighting for disability. I do what I can to take care of myself and my son. I take my 2nd ejection the 14th and I have a needle phobia. Plus I have a lumbar puncture to get tested for Ms and cancer and I’m basically fading away and NYS health doesn’t care about me or my son having a father and I fear I won’t be hear much longer I’m already 165lbs and I was 325lbs last year.

Thumbs up 2023, i installed mine with rubber gaskets & tiny bit of ancient rtv, failed. Installed same rubber gaskets with too much bew rtv, failed. Going to buy new cork gaskets and place small amount of rtv between cover and gasket then install to succeed - not overtighten or over rtv!! Sheesh. 3rd times the dinner winner

I replaced my valve cover gaskets on a '67 Oldsmobile 425 that were leaking, and three hours after I finished, they were leaking even more! I used the red RTV, not black, and I don't think I used enough of it. Looks like the key is to smear a thin coat evenly across all surfaces. I'll give it another shot when the weather warms up a bit, thanks for this video!
