This is one of the most studied lakes in Australia and is not a mystery. A simple wikepedia search shows that. The "local legend" is probably First Nations history.

You’re absolutely right! Lake George has been extensively studied, and its changing water levels have a scientific explanation. The local legends, especially from First Nations history, add a fascinating cultural perspective to it all. It’s interesting how both science and storytelling shape our understanding of such places!

Yep, they are leveling hundreds of hectares (probably a lot more) to put in roads & transmission lines to connect solar farms in rural areas to cities and to put thousands of wind turbines on mountain tops in State/Conservation/National Parks/Forests. Um, I'm not aware of them hunting the elusive marine rabbit at the beach. Were you too lazy to look for relevant images? Dingoes eat whatever they can get their jaws wrapped around, and are an introduced species themselves.
@auzpixАй бұрын
Thank you for your feedback! The video footage is a visual representation and not intended to depict the exact hunting environment of dingoes. Dingoes are highly adaptable predators that primarily hunt rabbits, kangaroos, and small mammals. They’ve been in Australia for over 4,000 years and play a crucial role in controlling invasive species like rabbits, which can damage native ecosystems. @@auzpix Standing here tonight I'm at home with family. Of all locations on the island my home is the best part as I'm watching a million fruit bats heading out for a feast or forest fruits. They form columns of black in the thousand's across the sunset in different directions. They spread seed and pollinate all throughout the night to return early before sun rise. The black mass of flying fox stand out against the pastel's of color in the sunset. It's quiet and I can only hear crickets right now. But I'll hear bats screech at each other over Mango's 🥭 soon in the fading light into night. Many things I love like these moments. Nice to share it with you. Cheer's
