Oops, I meant Queen (not Kiss), regarding "We Will Rock You". Guess I'm gettin old. Turned 70 last Sept. But y'know what, It's okay, what can you do, and I'm getting so I kinda like it, starting to get used to the weird dignity that somehow gets afforded you when you start being a senior. In life that is, not in high school, although when I was going to Fieldston and became a senior in 1969 I kinda felt the same way, a little.

Epically lovely. Great musical direction. Who's the musical director? When I was going to Fieldston (1963-69) the M.D. was Bernie Werthman. But I'm sure he had no idea who Booker T. or Kiss or the Bar-Kays were! Good work; thank you for your musical choices. Fieldston orch rocks!

Guy, Your comments appeared as a nice surprise in an old email. I had no idea these were still on KZbin. I posted these when I was band director 2004-17. Good memories for me as well, now retired. Thanks for your comments.

Oh. My God. Bravo! I graduated Fieldston in 1969-this was the music I was listening to at the time, but you would never find anything like this in school, maybe some folk songs (with their usual topics of rape, torture, exile, and heartbreak), but that was about it. You just talked w/your class buddies about modern stuff like this (or Green Onions or Yellow Submarine!), then you went down to Sam Goody's and bought the album (if your parents gave you enough allowance). Music director back in the day (I loathe that phrase) was bald old Bernie Werthman. Good musical director though. THANK YOU FOR THIS! Well chosen, and well done. I've always loved this timelessly good song. This cool is so school, I mean this school is so cool, I'm forever glad I got to go there. And the band plays on! More power to you (us) forever!!

Wow, , I didn't know Fieldston orch vids were on KZbin! Excellent, thank you; I had no idea! I graduated in '69-does that have anything to do with it-the not knowing, I mean? :+} I don't even have a cellphone, and that's very much due to the notions of freedom I learned about in Fieldston that resounded-and still resound, as in this music-with me. Thanks again for this great work. Play on!
