I thought I was good at this mission... Until I saw this insanity... And I REGULARLY S mark this mission in my. F-14. AND I fly fast enough to beat the audio. I'm over the base exploding stuff about the time longcaster is imposing radio silence. But this is unreal.

Jesus WOW!! teach me your ways lol after multiple attempts on easy i chose the slowest most manoeuvrable plane and still took 4 attempts 😅 im looking forward to buying the top gun pack one day but jesus im not sure if its even worth trying this run

@dun0790 just keep at it. You'll get better. When I first started playing AC, more than 20 years ago now, I had no idea what I was doing. IMO the Top Gun dlc is worth it regardless just for the skins 😅

That's a good point and clarifies what is easily confused. The interesting thing was Adam was about to spill the beans then to Eve, and then LIly's introduction interrupted the revelation. Storywise, I am interested in how old Eve really is, not how she appears, but when she was created. I am trying to find the line again when Adam asks Eve if she remembers being born. The story starts with Eve on her first mission, and according to Tachy had only done training up to that point. Going to Eidos-7, Eve is very naive and oblivious about common things , like a map. She recognzies anything that has to do with the Airborne squadrons, like the legacies. So basically Mother Sphere creates an all-female army that are all extremely attractive and sheltered. Raven accuses Eve of "knowing too much now to go back".

Its kinda wirde how easy it was to missuderstand that she hid herself in the pod for 2YEARS. I thought it was kinda wirde but after i found out that they were androids i though "ok, so thats why she could holde out for sooo long" Thanks for the explanation

No it’s only bad written in that part (otherwise great). Adam was surprised of the hideout. Why should he be, if he knows beforehand? Unfortunately Lily was captured in a pod. With that there is only one direction: to the surface! You can‘t navigate and fly around with it like an airplane, helicopter or Adams Tetrapod. The pod created the crater where the Gigas battle takes place…Adam mentioned that as well…Furthermore Adam asks Lily where she wanted to go before Spire 4. She explained her workshop there…but why, if Eve and Adam already knew? Even if it’s possible to fly around with the landing pod…Why should Lily fly to Eidos 7? The landing of the 7th Airborne Squat wasn‘t there. We don‘t know where the landing of the squat was, nor do we know how far away Eidos 7 is from there because we don‘t have any description or world map. We can only assume and speculate. In the very first trailer from 2019 the Eve there mentioned reclaiming earth/living there is now ongoing „after 70 years“…so every 10 years there was a new landing squat. Since Lily is from the 5th and Eve from the 7th there are 20 years between them. Unfortunately there is no explanation of these plot holes…so we can‘t be sure and only make our own assumptions + believe what we want to believe.

Adam is surprised by all the plants growing in the atelier, not that it's her hideout. Adam also says the pod "was abandoned a long time ago." I'm aware of how drop pods work, you can cover a lot of ground on foot in a year. She's explaining the workshop for the player, the point I make where it cuts to the middle of a conversation, she's been speaking with Eve and Adam for however long, and we're only privy to the end of the discussion. We get to hear about it toward the end of the game provided Lily's affinity meter was maxed prior this point in the game. That last part is the most incorrect information I have ever seen regarding the lore of this game. Lily was waiting for "almost two years" to be rescued, presumably the mission went sideways real fast, but let's be generous and round it up to a full two years. That puts two years between the 5th dive and the 7th dive. Not 20. I don't know how you got 70 years of airborne dives when the Notes on the EVE Protocol documents tell us the squads have only been dropping for "a few decades." That's in the realm of ~30 years total from 1st to 7th squad. You're right in that there is a lot of conjecture required to fill in the blanks, but a lot has changed between the first trailer and the final game.

That also goes conform with Ravens speech: „I served him for a very long time.“ …5 years are not that long. All we have are speculations and for that there is the plot hole. One simple extra sentence from Adam could have prevented that confufusion. …like: „Ah this is the hideout you mentioned when we first met you in Eidos 7.“ …but such a sentence never came…neither an official explanation. 🤷🏻♂️

@Erdadler I don't speak Korean, that trailer told me nothing. Again, a lot has changed in 5 years. The title of the game is different, Eve is different, that Naytiba is absent from the final game. 30 years is also 'a very long time'.

Yes things can change…but they didn‘t, because we don’t have a timeline and explanation for this. But all that I told initially in the comment. This is my favorite game of the year and I like how Feminazis and other fashist trolls from IGN received the middle finger from the gamer community and Shift Up. @Erdadler your "proof" is a reveal trailer from 5 years ago that barely resembles the final product. I don't know how a direct quote from a document in the final game is "not evidence" but whatever. This video explains the Lily 'plot hole'. I can't be any clearer on that.

One correction, Iberis didn't shut down "recently," Lily tells the others in the atelier that Iberis has been asleep for a year. So Lily was hiding out in that atelier with Iberis for one year, and then spent another year all alone.

To be fair the game is pretty confusing with a lot of its lore, and a lot of things make no sense. For example the androids in this universe don't need to breathe but they need food and rest? That's weird. Not only that but how does Adam know there aren't any organic humans left? Has he searched every inch of the entire planet? This could easily be a I Am Legend type of situation where Adam mistakenly thinks there are no organic humans left.

I would maje a change to the chain by ibris dieing before the 6th squad arriving and lily going back to the pod where she landed for a chance to meet another squad and there being gigas.

Yeah I thought when Lily introduced herself as 5th Airborne, I thought that meant that was her drop pod and she was stuck in there all this time. It wasn't until the "hideout" dialogue and the Eidos 9 chapter that I realized I had misunderstood. So the game does sort itself out eventually, but it does bother me that I went through two acts of the game with a complete misunderstanding. Maybe there was some cut dialogue from Eidos 7 that would have explained how long Lily was in the pod.

Imo, they should've had EVE save her from the Gigas, like how Kratos saved Sindri from the Dragon in GOW 2018. Not only would that be easier to understand, but it would've started the transition in EVE's character from an android soldier taking orders to a protector. Thus, further validating the true ending

No, this is a poor wording from the devs. The hideout means "a hiding place, a place to hide", and the pod was her hiding place from naytibas there for a moment. So of course people would assume she was in the pod for 2 years. They can fix this by changing that voice line a little bit in a patch. Well, I really liked Stellar Blade and I hope for some DLCs, maybe a Raven story, or New Game++ with bit a plot changed (like Kaya's sister being alive or Iberis being alive). And ability to go back to Xion and everywhere from the last camp in Nest.

I'm presuming you did not watch the full video before commenting. I include the clips where Adam says "you were in that *hideout* ... for almost two years?" and Eve, in Eidos 9 asking "why did [Lily] live *hidden* in a place like this?" While I agree Adam's words, along with the cut to the middle of a conversation are the source of confusion, the hideout is referring to Eidos 9, not the pod. Hope this cleared things up!

@@GrislyGrizz yes, the hideout was in Eidos 9, but right after getting Lilly out of the pod the words used suggest she was in a pod for 2 years hiding. Like I said, it's poor choice of words from the developers. No wonder so many people thought like that.

@@silvk1000 It was intentional wording from the devs. They wanted to keep Eidos 9 a secret since it's, you know, a secret area you have to unlock. As you get more information your viewpoint on what actually happened changes like a normal story.
