Streets of rage 1 is my favorite. Streets of rage 4 is a close second but I don't like how the best characters are reliant on button combos like it's a darn fighting game. The absent to choose legacy streets of rage 1 characters is a nice feature but it's ruined by the inability to select a turbo function so I don't have to master button constantly. (Growing up my brother and I had turbo controllers for the Sega Genesis. It was awesome. Also, The Xbox 360 The Xbox 360 trilogy port had a turbo function along with how fast you want it to speed of the turbo, it was a little ridiculous but I'm so glad it was there) But without such an essential feature for the characters I really want to play as I'm left matching the buttons thus I just don't like Streets of rage 4 that much. Missed opportunity for an otherwise great game. (Yes I do realize I'm into minority of people with this problem)

I got to be honest, I use turbo on almost everything. It's a hold over for the 90's I just can't let go of. Unfortunately, my turbo controller doesn't work with the Master System, so back to regular button bashing for this one. I haven't played SoR4, keep meaning to give it a go, I'm just such a fan of the originals, I feel I'm predestined to not like it 😛

If my co-op buddy chooses Adam then I'll just choose blaze because I always go for the character with high jumping capability, and blaze makes up for the lack of strength with the speed. Axel is my least favorite character lol. I have an email rant to send about Streets of rage. I have never played any of the Metroid games and I'm happy to live the rest of my life never doing so. At least not by myself, I am an advocate for single player games with two people sitting on the same couch occasionally taking turns and the other one just talking shit. That's the only way I could get into something like Majora's mask or Yoshi's world games. I just don't like new experiences of games I would normally like. And I surely wouldn't ever play through new games that I already know I wouldn't like such as the modern games etc.

I honestly haven't played through that section since 2005 because using the banshee skip is just too damn tempting to cruise through the level.

@@Gator159 Yeah, I think they call the smaller controller the "S", problem is, these controllers are old boys now.
