I'm a drummer myself, and have watched countless drum covers over the years. You're much cleaner than many other drummers I have seen and really understand what it means to play for the music, and also fantastic mic set up. Great job with these videos!

Ben Shillabeer, that is a sennheiser 421. I usually use an Audix i5 but wanted to try something different. Thanks for watching!

421 is a great all purpose mic, although a bit more expensive and fragile.

Excellent Jason. Many drum cover wannabe's on KZbin but you posess that superb combination of professional effortless drumming and perfect mixing with the original track. I hope to see many more vids uploaded in the future. I have subscribed with pleasure! PS you must have either fantastically understanding neighbours, a soundproofed room or a combinaton of the two.

Thanks Jeremy! I bought a bass guitar once because I thought it would be cool to learn to play.. I sold it after my fingers got sore from practicing on it, so I stick to drums!! :)

Jason Kime I always wanted a bass guitar and my wife bought me one for my 50th - now 53 and it still looks nice in its stand. Gets a dust now and then. Maybe I will pick it up and try to play it one day!
