bro.... your sword is on backwards..... i dont believe a thing you say. also if the scabbard can be removed then you didnt peace tie it..... dumb. NEXT!

youre correct that its not a complete scabbard peace tie, but for general function he is right about it being safe enough to generally be considered a piece tie. now he also didnt really make the ties hold up, as one yank still lets you draw it. but hes generally just telling people how to make events safer for everyone. i dont think you need to micromanage everything he says.

I do medieval reenactment and I have worked at renaissance festivals before. My specialty is reenacting the executioner and that’s what I mainly do. I shop a lot at thrift stores for garb. Especially because an executioner is very specific thrift stores can be a hit or miss but I have found some amazing deals on garb that work great for my medieval executioner persona. I sometimes find it difficult to get the role that i specialize in because of the loyalty aspect of renn festivals. I noticed that if I tried to get the part that I am most happy and comfortable acting at a renaissance festival I never worked at before there are always people already working there for years and even as a person who is experienced and knowledgeable and good at acting my persona I don’t stand a chance because of mostly it is not based on knowledge or experience or ability to act it’s how much years one has been working a renaissance festival and to me that is discouraging. I wish I had more renn festivals I could work at and be able to fairly have the ability to do what i have a true passion for doing. I also am not the kind of person who can focus on something if i am disappointed and doing something i am not happy doing to get somewhere. Honesty i have to be happy with whatever I am doing i hope maybe you can let me know what renaissance festivals in USA are not going to be unfair in this regard. I have a passion for what i do and i want to have more opportunities without someone else who may not be as experienced but have been there for years making me unable to get the part fairly.

I agree for the love of all things medieval don’t go to a renaissance festival or reenactment event in all star converse sneakers with a medieval theme outfit

I enjoyed the video but you referred to your sword and axe, etc. as a weapon. It's just a sword until it's used as a weapon, than it's a weapon. Normally I wouldn't point this out but I feel it's important to mention for educational purposes. You know, with all this cancel culture bs. Great video though, keep them coming! :)

This video looks like it was made 40 years ago and I love it. I’m in Kc so I go to the ren faire there, but if I’m ever near Idaho when the time is right I’d be happy to visit the Idaho Ren Faire !
