Or how they systematically double teamed and fouled as soon as attacker receive the ball, and ref didn't book them that often. Some less serious foul would still be painful for the victim. Football was more balanced back then. It's battle between two teams. Nowadays defenders are handicapped. Nice clean dribble were because the defenders know they would be in trouble even for putting their foot wrong, let alone making a crunchy tackle from behind.

Ronaldo era troppo forte nello sprint ma questo già non è un talento ma un dono della natura, il dribbling che aveva lui era leggermente superiore ai più grandi campioni di quei tempi ma come potete dire che era l’attaccante più forte della storia? Era un giocatore incompleto, aveva molti punti deboli. Per esempio non aveva visione di gioco-tendeva a far giocare tutta la squadra per lui e quando era marcato a uomo non riusciva a uscirne e poi non era tanto bravo nei calci piazzati e di testa non era certo un Trezeguet giusto per nominare un altro 9! Era un giocoliere come molti brasiliani ma o per chi ne capisce di calcio non era paragonabile a Del Piero perché Del Piero aveva tutto quello che Ronaldo non aveva, non solo le qualità di Ronaldo un po’ ridimensionate, se per esempio Ronaldo era 10 in velocità Del Piero era 8 se Ronaldo era 10 in dribbling Del Piero era 9! E tutto il resto che ho nominato sopra Del Piero aveva di grazia e per completare Del Piero poteva giocare anche da trequartista e da mediano perché aveva Visione di gioco e sapeva far girare la squadra per non parlare delle doti su calcio di punizione che solo uno lo superava cioè Beckham. In più Del Piero era ambidestro, sapeva lanciare la palla quasi alla Pirlo e faceva tutti i tipi di passaggi e Cross immaginabili ed era bravo anche di testa..minimo un 7 glielo darei! Poi se avete tempo guardatevi un video di tutti i gol di Del Piero e vedrete che ci sono certi gol acrobatici o di tacco che “solo” lui sà fare “da qui il nome Pinturicchio” Del Piero era il 10 e nessun giocatore nella storia è stato non più forte di lui solamente ma prevalentemente “completo” perché tutti gli attaccanti che sono esistiti fino ad oggi hanno qualcosa che non sanno fare mentre Del Piero non aveva punti deboli quindi per me è l’attaccante più completo della storia del calcio! ⚽️ Ah dimenticavo per chi l’ha visto giocare e non si è perso un incontro della Juve di quei tempi ricorda che Del Piero sapeva anche difendere quando si doveva! The original fenomeno, the creator forgot to protect the knees so RB10 mostly played with half a leg.
