This is a fraud repair. It is only the external appearance of a repair. The torque transmitting capacity of the repair will be way below the original. No account was taken of the chemical makeup or the type of heat treatment of the original shaft material. No account taken of the effect of the grain structure during the welding process. This is an el cheapo repair with a consequently poor performance. REPLACE this shaft, not repair it like this. The customer has been cheated.😡😡😡
