Sir amazing story, very nice imagery to how we can apply to our life. If we like the other kings, use the years of living only for sensory pleasures then death will haunt us in the end. But if we use the time of our life that helps us recognize our immortal source, then there is only death of the body. The king after his tenure had to move to the island, that he cannot avoid. But he had used his time as a king very well to make himself have a comfortable existence after leaving the kingdom and going to the island. I have never heard of this story, and its very inspiring. Thank you for your time and efforts.

Thank you kind sir, for sharing the practical way to pay attention to the source of the first person experiences, the source of "I". Sir, when the experiences are entertaining and captivating, we seem to be so engrossed in the experience. so that we falsely identify with the body and senses and seek pleasure . Your encouragement for us to see our self behind the senses is much needed in kali yuga. Thank you for the efforts and guidance.

Very beautifully said, and thoughtful observation Sir. Thank you for sharing. Only personalities drama is seen in interactions these days, and we should not loose ourselves to this drama; but be aware of the unseen force behind all this. Wishing the family members Gods grace to bear with the loss of this person. 🙏

Namaste Sir. At the outset thank you for the efforts to share your experience and wisdom. 1. The motivation to seek the source of "I" seems to come from certain events of suffering and pain in the jiva, or intense curiosity, or intense love for God...a mix of these 3 I guess, please see if you can cover this in your future videos or reply whichever you think is best. 2. Sir, ultimately the body/mind is a jada and an upadhi. So when there is a death to the upadhi, any how the atman which is the actual source of "I" will continue to thrive. The only advantage of being a Jivan Mukta therefore is probably live without suffering in the waking and dream state of the jiva (Which no doubt is a big deal) but anything else besides this sir? I am Sriram, and I am very interested in this subject, thank you for creating such a channel.
@inemindia721128 күн бұрын
Hello Sriram ji, 1. Thanks for watching the video in detail. 2. Your point number 1, I agree with you 100%. However, the motive to turn towards Self determines the result/outcome. A good topic which will be covered in an upcoming video. 3. As regards suffering for a Jivanmukt, I feel that the so called suffering would cease to upset the jivanmukt. He would not suffer the suffering, both physical or mental. It would be an 'occurance'just like the one we would call 'pleasurable' event. Examples cancer of Ramakrishna paramhans and Ramana Maharshi were just occurances of on the body.

Interesting. Isn’t there a risk of becoming too complacent or lazy with this approach though?
@inemindia721128 күн бұрын
1.Yes, you have a point. But the message behind the idea is to be understood well. 2. Todays video (EP 163) approaches the same issue from a different angle wherein the responsibility of catering to ones needs is his. Having done so (and also while the process is on), what is he to perceive/engage his mind with? 3. Then, what beyond the mind? 4. Indeed very grateful for your contribution. Thanks❤

Guruji, thanks for the discourse. I have a few questions: 1. Lately, I've been struggling with applying my mind on any particular thing. My job has become monotonous after 8 years and am not able to derive much happiness from it. I've a loving family but I feel there is some emptiness. I went to the internet in search for some spiritual knowledge and found out that if I have any materialistic aspirations and even if they get fulfilled, I'll still be not happy and have first hand experienced it. So this is a pratyaksh gyaan that I have acquired and religiously follow it. Once this got cleared, I started reading books like Zen Yoga by PJ Saher, Bhagwat Geeta(still reading) and a lot of my questions are now being answered. Finally, I came across your channel and love the way you explain things that even a layman can understand. So, my question is that this hunger and the emptiness that I am experiencing, both before and after gaining the knowledge, is that the mind or the self that is experiencing? And how to analyze that within me? 2. You mentioned that you had an experience with Papaji in Mathura. Can you elaborate on that please? Or if you can direct me to a video if you might have made on that? Thanks.
@inemindia7211Ай бұрын
Sourajeet ji, 1. I'm not a guru nor do I have requisite capabilities. I'm just a friend in your neighbourhood. 2. Direct knowledge is better explained in my english video uploaded this afternoon (Episode 154). Iam sure this would make direct knowledge more comprehensible. 3. Fulfiling responsibilities of samsara has no escape. Though the journey may be rough. Neither I have run away from my responsibilities towards my family nor do I advise escaping. Spirituality works only then. These issues have been dealt with in my earlier videos also. 3. All that comes, goes - even the tough times - if at all they are there. 4. My maiden experience with Papaji is also covered in an earlier episode. Happy viewing.

Nice thought.....Life is fluid and ever changing. Life tries to guide us towards people and experiences that bring out our best selves. Sometimes those people and experiences are our hardest moments and it's life's way of trying to redirect us. Life does work best, when we don't swim against it's current.

@@inemindia7211 what i meant is... There is no suffering. We have only knowledge of suffering. Likewise there is no individual we have only knowledge of everything. So everyone by its true nature is enlightened. Whatever you are doing is sharing knowledge. But knwledge cant reach dimensionless self.
