Another one that hit me harder than i expected after rewatching bojack for the 2nd time was the line said by bojack at his oscar nomination party when talking with diane “There’s gonna be plenty of people around when I kill myself” Just f*ck, that’s too much man…

Despite only watching the show now, a lot of its scenes and quotes helped me get through some pretty tough periods of my teenage years.

Only when you’ve seen the whole show do you get a sense of how pivotal and life changing that conversation with Cuddlywhiskers was to Dianne. In the end, Dianne gave up everything too. She gave up her marriage. She gave up her dream of writing and publishing her memoir. She gave up living in LA. She gave up her friendship with Bojack. And all of those decisions brought her closer to finding happiness.

Its more like the saddest/most memorable quotes rather than the darkest moments of the show (necessarily) but nice compliation regardless

Love the waves clearing Todd and Bojack’s old foot prints as if it’s clearing their past and their friendship, while not as close as it once was, can start afresh

I headcanon that sarah lynn actually fades from consciousness when the narrators line ended, so bojack was just saying that to himself. So his final thought to her wasnt some grande spiel about life and how insignificant they are and how significant that makes their lives, it was "I dont like domes"

I think the greatest thing about this series is that it’s about *people*. It’s not characters, it’s life. It’s people, people with problems living life and living with regret. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a series where I feel called out, heard, and seen all at once.

when Todd says "I need to stop expecting you to be a good person, so I won't get hurt when you're not " Imagine hearing that. I would feel so bad

Bojack is a special show. It talks a lot about responsibility and personal growth, but it never makes it "Hollywood". Things dont always work out, things arent always so easy, its all complicated and at times painful, but you have to keep moving.

considering it takes place in the setting of hollywoo(d) it just makes that fact 10 times better. The sloppy way that dramatic conversations unfold is so good and as real as it gets while getting as clear and concise in delivering its point across.

5:30 this scene was something that shook me when I watched it. Bojack being told by his own mother that he'll never be happy and that he'll always be broken no matter what he does.

Another thing I would like to point out was that the seasons climax was ALWAYS the before last episode. The last episode itself was always the aftermath; it showed that even after crazy and life altering events take place, life moves on. Such an awesome detail

The way every character is consumed by the dark substance says a lot. Like Herb was slowly eaten by it, cause that how he died - cancer, slowly eating and killing every cell in his body.
