Imagine someone goes back to the Middle Ages at the height of the Black Death epidemic. That person has learned the medieval version of the language that is spoken there and explains to the locals what it's like 1000 years later. They will respond in bewilderment. "You mean to tell me, y'all have figured out what causes up to half of us to drop dead through the various epidemics? And you have come up with solutions to protect yourselves? And there are people who think this is a giant conspiracy?" They would follow this up with a facepalm so strong, they'd end up with a concussion.

You realize they were drinking contaminated poop water everyday, no indoor plumbing, no soap & hot water from the faucet to wash their hands, they rarely bathed & their clothes were filthy. No refrigerators to prevent their meat from spoiling, horses pooping wherever they walked, we had no city services to pave roads & scoop up poop. No flush toilets so human feces would pile up as well. The average person back then lived in squalor, terrible nutrition compared to the food we have today. Is it any wonder that earlier civilizations were decimated by infectious disease? It was a different time. Those people had abysmal baseline health & severe nutritional deficiencies. Not to mention the polluted environment (fecal contamination) until they developed plumbing & sewer systems. All of these factors made them more vulnerable to disease & death. Once we got modern sanitation under control, fresh water into houses, flush toilets, electricity, refrigeration, environmental limits on how much pollution was allowed, we forced the factories to relocate outside city-limits to protect everyday citizens from industrial sludge, we passed laws to protect employees & children from being worked to death, etc.

It turned out that the plastic container was COVID all along. And yes, the vaccination for it does work. We've now suffered from COVID long enough that we can tell that the vaccine helps offset and alleviate the symptoms of Long-COVID, which are debilitating...but because folks refused to isolate, refused to vaccinate, we still lost one million US citizens, and who knows how many more around the world.

And we now have selected for a population that has zero natural resilience for these infections. Not saying the vaccinations aren't a net good, or infant mortality is, but we have preserved a constitutionally weaker population.

Well, you could also do a genetic test on any fetus to see if it has any weaknesses according to its genome, and abort it if it has. That would "strengthen" the population. However, in most cultures that would be considered immoral, and the moral duty would be to protect those in need.

Not only this episode but the Bullshit! show feels like pure propaganda upon a second watch 20 years later. Just remember that there's big money to be made in selling the myth that vaccines cause autism thanks to internet monetization. If large antivax influences suddenly one day changed their minds and admitted vaccines don't cause autism: Their career is over. All their customers are lost, their donation revenue tanks. And no one in their right mind would hire them ever again for the history of the lies they spread. This is why career antivaxxers cannot be trusted.
