a 10 car LM feature.....this is a sign that the promoter needs to change something drastic. That is embarrassing.

So sad that the stands are that empty. The front stretch is absolutely barren. That NEVER happened in the 80s. I have so many fond memories of Bob Fields, Herb Rose, Rick Rhonemus, Jim Cooper, Denny Miles, Ray Fullen and the evil Vic Hellis all battling on the high banks! And let's not forget Gene Huston, Darwin Blankenship, Joe Mckinney and Joe Beaver in the wild and crazy figure eight division. Jeff Chew and Orie Parkhurst from the Street Stockers to the Sportsmen division. Those were the days. Pretty sure there was a Crabtree back then too.

Just now seeing this, kinda late but better than never. I'm impressed with your filming. Yes you have to have cam on your cars but you pan around some much appreciated. If there was any advice on things I'd say you could go a little slower when showing the lineup on cautions, hard to read who's in what car and positions. I like that feature showing lineup under caution. Thanks for the good content and keep up the good work. P.S putting Van Alst in other car was a good move, I hope nothing was wrong with Jimmie! Thanks again for awesome work

You're a REAL racing family. I was on various teams in the 90s and raced Jimmy. Back in the mini stock days. I remember Big Jim and Judy. Really great people

I'm so glad to see the # 63. The Crabtree family is a long time racing family. I raced with y'all back in the 90s. Jim Jr was a good driver.

I used to race with a lot of these guys,at Anderson running super trucks, had 3 young kids and become a single father and had to step away thinking I'll just go back racing later, heck my kids are grown and on their own Im ready to pull together something like a cra street stock, I like the series and it's competitive,I miss racing a lot , out of all the sports I've completed in ,auto racing is by far the most competitive which means more enjoyable.

Combination of tires, fuel and pit pass prices, the lack of race purse and some of the car rules have caused drivers to either sell out or leave their cars parked at home.

No give or take there. Lol got cut off down the back stretch. Some balls from the 83 or just didnt think from either driver. Both cars got tore up for 800 dollars not worth for the repairs it takes to race again. Lol they must have alot of money. Great video

My grandfather, Paul Stafford, raced here in the late 40s/early 50s when the track was dirt. He ran a Crosley with a “bad motor” that he purchased for $75. He would idle the car between heats and disconnect the battery lead for the races; said doing that brought the car alive. Then, he would drive the car all week and race it the next race weekend. He stopped racing when a friend of his was killed during a race here one night. Now, I didn’t really know the extent of his skills until, one day in the mid 2000s, I drove from Williams, Ind to Bedford on the back road, showing off my skills (having won a track championship a few years before driving a 1978 Mustang II with a 2.3 Lima). He didn’t seem all that impressed with my skills. A few days later, he was driving his much slower vehicle, following the speed limit and slowing for curves. My second son, all of 7 years old at the time, piped up and said, “Papaw, can you let Dad drive; you’re no fun.” I got that sidelong look of dead man from my grandfather, and he proceeded to school me and thrill my sons, so much so that I never got to drive those boys again while at Papaw’s; only he could drive to town and I had to sit in the back.
