yes mate a must in there for a few ide, like you said to keep the fish coming in the net, i think were i went wrong is i should of gone one maggot instead of double maggot, coz i lost a lot of bite's and mist ide, Thank you very much terry for commenting,

Well done mate, a lot closer to home and a better result I'll prob start a debate now, get rid of them bloody ow maggots, the sweetcorn started to bring a show of better fish in, think i'd tried 6/8 mm pellets to get passed them bloody sticklebacks, correct me if i'm talkin bullshit

no no mate your entitled to your opinion, sweetcorn got me a few but i did get more on maggots, you no me by now i don't use maggots a lot, but to get me there i did get 6lb 4oz of ide, i do have my best place coming up soon Topcroft lakes, ill see if i can beat my wining weight last time of 144lb, Thank you for your good comment,

@@jamesatkinsfishing I've just been to Topcroft this morning with my boy, I couldn't fish coz of this wrist replacement I've had done, but he was using my gear on method feeder on 8mm pellets and he had a good bag of carp, and we had some special guests on peg next door but one, Angling Direct TV were filming 😲

Hi James Very hard match with low weights . Blankety blank Happens to us all sometimes unfortunately . But at least you're out fishing I fished Topcroft on Saturday and didn't do very well as lost more than I caught. 10 fished and 7 of us weighed in with top weight 158lb and 3 DNW Good luck next match

I fished the match lake Saturday peg 13 weighed 37 pound 7 three fish biggest 17 pound 11 all on worm feeding groundbait and dead reds

Another good video, you weren't alone yesterday mate from memory i think that's the worst i have ever known it to fish like that. It can be hard this time of year but this was granite i had a twenty minute period when the tip did not stop moving and resulted in two decent carp then it died completely the rest of the day i was chasing roach, never mind mate upwards and onwards. Barford match lake is not fishing very well at the moment, I was there last Saturday on the pleasure lake and quite a few match anglers didn't even weight in on the match lake. Top lake and pleasure lake are still fishing really well.

Tough day james Unfortunately I think the winter is coming ,perhaps natural baits like maggots and casters would of at least caught you a fish, but weights were low. Sometimes you have to accept a bad day,so when a good one comes you appreciate it. Least you are up beat about the whole situation. I'd rather be blanking than working james🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 👍👍👍👍😳

@@kirkhogan2688 i don't no mate, they just said there don't seem to be enough fish stock in that lake, there was a match in there Saturday and weights were low, the other lakes seem fine ie pleasure lake and top lake, wining weight Sunday in the pleasure lake was 128lb and some other's were close to that, Thank you for commenting mate,

Some of the lakes I fish, the farmer takes out the bigger ones(carp) and puts them in others, Don't they replenish their stocks of fish? The farmer put in some golden orfe and tench to compensate, on mine local. People will fish elsewhere if the fishing isn't good. Not your fault of course but makes for a poor match, It can't get any worse, and you will probably win the next🤞

One of those days you know. Cold nights, Cold rain, fish dont know what to do. Regarding bait you might have tried punched bread down the sides also did you have a go at your Left margin. Unlucky though James. Better luck next time. Cheers

Hi James. One observation, Unable to hear you properly when you are turned away from the Mike. Had the same problem on the previous video. All we get is a load of mumbling. It improved after about 14 minutes. Well fished James. The lost fish are what they are. Shame because you might have framed higher. You still cant resist showing fish during the match. Hi James That looked a hard match with not many bites. Did you use bomb to the Island or method feeder ? Method normally best. I think I see my mate Gary M on video with draw bag and weighing you in . He's fishing with my lot on Saturday at Topcroft. Then we are at Railway next month. Well done good video 😊😊
