@LOVEbmxify all you have to do is back the Allen wrench bolts out that are on the front bottom of the lims going into the main frame of the bow. But make sure you turn them out evenly ie: 4 turns out on the top = 4 turns on the bottom.simple. and I to own this bow and love it this will be my third season with it and have gotten 5 deer with it I love it, mine is at 72lbs and I shoot easton micro diameter carbon

What most pple will tell you is whatever fits and feels to you the best is the right bow for you. There are so many brands and types on the market. I tried several in stores before deciding on the Bear Strike. They can range anywhere from $200-$1500. But don't think you need to buy something expensive to get a good bow. You should just try some because they will all feel a little different in your hand, be more quiet, lighter, etc. Just try some out

question what tools do you need to increase the draw weight in this bow???

What type of arrow rest are you using. It looks like a whisker biscuit? If so what model? I am new to bow hunting and trying to figure out if whisker biscuits or fall away rests are better any suggestions?

@davjau -How do you like the grip on this bow. It looks like there is not a whole lot of it there.

@davjau ok thanks its got the 3 pin sight but on 9/26 i go for my field day and i have to get 3 out of 5 arrows in the vital areas of a deer if not i fail it and like im trying to sight in my bow its just not working idk maybe its me
@davjau
@davjau 14 жыл бұрын
@kx85kid12 ....nothing really other than practice unless your pins aren't sited in correctly. Remember to adjust your site left/right and up/down TOWARDS where your arrows are landing on the target. Get your left and right set first, then adjust your up and down. Site in your 10 yard pin dead on before moving to further distances. Biggest think impacting my groups is how I pull the release. If you don't have a steady "pull" the entire time you wind up jerking and scattering arrows.

I think your gonna need to invest in some more fletchings and possibly arrows if you keep shooting tight groups like that. @ dvonlangen- you can mount a bowfishing reel on any bow pretty much.

@davjau

@dvonlangen I don't know how fast the string stops would wear out. I purchased this at the end of hunting season and haven't even hunted with it yet. But I have run probably 600-800 arrows through it thus far and it ain't wearin down yet. I do think you could add a bow reel
@davjau
@davjau 14 жыл бұрын
@LLLGuitar If you have the money I would just go with the strike...but if not the charge is still a great bow, and if you add something to the strings like a diamond hush kit or something I am sure it will be a great all around bow. Can't really go wrong with either one

Nice shooting dude! But just asking, for my first good compound bow, should I buy the strike or the charge? Du you think it is worth to buy the strike for my first good bow? Both bow has brace height as 7,75, but the strike has the string supressors, and 5 fps faster IBO, (as you sure know) so do you think i'tsworth it? Thanks!

does this bow have a spot for stuff like a bow fishing reel and do the string stops wear out fast?
