+Jim S Shut the hell up, there are people that have a strong passion for DCI, and if you don't like it no one asked for your opinions or comments. So don't say shit if you're gonna hate because all you're doing is offending all the people with the strong passion, and putting a bad view on yourself that isn't even necessary. There are millions of things people hate in this world, but just leave your thoughts to yourself because you don't have the experience and you said you haven't watched a show in 12 years to even know how fulfilling their sounds can be now, DCI is just evolving along with this world and the technology and they're just making everything better, and every year its a new piece of excitement, so if you can't feel that way don't bother keeping up with DCI and go on with whatever other passion you'd have.

+Jim S and I play trombone and know that is one amazing instrument that deserves to be in DCI. It can be the loudest instrument out there (in my opinion) and can be used for various things. Ever listen to SCV's 2014 opener? All trombones. And too late to listen live, but I bet it would have blown you away.
