I had battled alcohol addiction for 15 yrs. The last day I drank alcohol I was the observer and it changed everything. The observer was watching and said things like oh there goes Michele again running down to the store to punish herself, but it's just because she is terrified of Love. And in that moment I felt a deep Love for this scared little one as the observer watched her do her thing, and thru the whole episode I was the observer, while it appeared she was getting drunk the observer was very well aware and awake. The next day I didn't want anything to do with the old patterns and haven't touched a drink since, that was 7 yrs ago. I have no fantasies about it, I'm just neutral about it. Like a clean letting go. I have been on that gratitude train ever since. I also experienced the observer while my mom was dying in the hospital, lifting me up thru the experience of a great "loss". And to this day I don't feel loss, when I think of or want to talk to her I feel her presence within and all around me. It may sound strange but I feel closer to her now than I ever did before and I feel a deep honor. The course in miracles came to me in 1994 in preparation for my husband's suicide. That's another story. All I can say is THANK YOU. Thank God I was wrong about everything and thank God for the correction. I love you carol❤ thank you for everything

This is so beautiful to read. Thank you for sharing your miracles. I'm trying to answer a question about the Course someone asked & I remembered Carol's talk. It has helped me seemingly answer the question succinctly but really, it has just helped me step back into observer & to reading your uplifting experiential message.

Ads shouldn't be playing if it's meditation time. Can be very distracting if you let it be. Doesn't go along very well with meditating. Thank you. Have a peaceful night!!!
