That’s an incredibly beautiful area there’s lakes and streams everywhere it’s such beautiful country but recently on most of my trips there, it just takes a couple bad apples to come in and play loud music all night where you can hear it a half a mile away echoes through the valley people drinking all night shooting guns etc. we go there to have peace and quiet and enjoy nature, just recently there was a group of at least 40+ people and the music was so loud it echoed through the entire valley, the music went on all night at 6:30 in the morning their music was still going, it’s absolutely ridiculous and I don’t know what can be done about it, but this area is special, it seems the roads just recently have gotten better I really wish they didn’t maintain the roads and make it much harder for people to get into maybe it would keep the riff raff out!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. And yes, I totally agree with you, the United States is a beautiful country with so much diversity. Indeed, all it takes is just a few bad apples to ruin a place. I always prefer going off the beaten path which leads to great views! Happy Trails! - JM

The history was interesting. You could edit out the night time scenes. Too much time around the camp. More trail coverage would have been more interesting.

What are the rest room facilities for a group of this size?
@ExpeditionaryJeep4 ай бұрын
Good question. Each vehicle has their own restroom. Either having an attached privacy tent or deploying a pop up privacy tent. We then use readily available camping porta potty.

Stay away from Modvans! You’ll be lucky if you’d ever get a working van. They have amateurs working for them and wanna be engineers that don’t even know how to use a screw driver 😂😂😂 floor batteries Incased by wood many shop fires, surprisingly yet to see this crap start a forest fire
@ExpeditionaryJeep5 ай бұрын
Thank you for your feedback, they looked like they know what they were doing when given the tour. But yeah, I’ll do more research.
@cbareng5 ай бұрын
@@ExpeditionaryJeep I worked for them before they laid off all their workers because they were about to go bankrupt. Then they had to go beg for more money from their 100s of investors, after 6-7 years and still asking for money. When they talk to you, it’s all a script. They were demanding full payment of 1 van just to complete another van.

I really like the storage in the rear Ive been buying American adventure labs stuff myself. I have a Gobi roof rack just like your and was wondering what brackets you used for the KC light bar? I been thinkjking about getting a KC light bar myself.
@ExpeditionaryJeep5 ай бұрын
Hi Patrick! I used Gobi racks brackets which I included when I ordered for the rack, it asked me for that option, I believe it’s a 50 inch option. I just checked their website and looks like you could buy them after the fact. Here’s their exact wording “LED Light Mounting Brackets 50″ Rigid E & SR Series (JK/JL/TJ GOBI Rack)” and sells for $150.oo Happy Trails!

Beautiful video. Truly enjoyed it. Only issue I have is it seemed like you camped in a non designated camping spot. One of the reasons Prewitt ridge is shut down. People camping wherever
@ExpeditionaryJeep7 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching. Yes, unfortunately when we got there, there were a couple of rigs camped at that spot who were leaving, and so we took it. As soon as we got settled a forest ranger came to us and told us about it not a camping spot. We politely said there were vehicles before us who just left and we didn’t see any signs posted. Ranger told us that people would take out signs posted. We took the citation and paid for the infraction.

Auto thefts are on the rise in many cities across the country, including San Francisco -- but in the Bay Area, arrest rates remain low. Car thefts in San Francisco have gone up year after year since 2018, according to publicly-available SFPD data acquired by CBS News: 2018: 4,934 car thefts 2019: 5,115 car thefts 2020: 7,081 car thefts 2021: 7,476 car thefts 2022: 7,729 car thefts This data reveals most cars stolen in San Francisco are eventually recovered -- about 75% of them in 2022 -- which is better than the national average. But as the number of car thefts has climbed, the arrest rate hasn't -- which stood at about 6% in 2022. * news transcript courtesy of CBS NEWS BAY AREA
