that most likely means your sims is running at DX9 :) You can try both DX9 or DX11 until you see the start up menu pop up when you open ur game

I just like my game to have a lot of shadows so yeah unfortunately it’s something you just have to deal with. I’ve gotten used to it as i’ve used it for 3 years now 🤣 You can always turn the mxao down until you’re happy with it

@ yes, I did. I’m using DX11, and DX9 is off in my game settings.

@фёдордостоевский-б8у hmmm, did you also select the correct .exe file. It is TS4_x64 Change ur game to DX9 and try installing it with DX9 graphics API as well to see if that works. Usually the default keys to open gshade after installation is shift + backspace so try pressing those even if nothing comes up beforehand

It definitely is safe, it looks like a pretty decent laptop so it should run gshade fine! You can also turn MXAO off to help it run better. I explain that near the end of the video <3

Yes the dev was targeting someone specific because of drama they had. It’s over now obviously but it’s up to you if you decide you want to use the application and support the creator. I just continue to use it as i’m familiar with it but there’s also always reshade instead if people feel more comfortable! The vast majority of people i know still use gshade so it’s definitely safe to use
