Respect that you use Netbeans and Java! I never got into both that deep. My first Company used Netbeans and PHP mainly. These were my first experiences. I use Emacs and many languages but I don't use Java. I would only learn it if my next Company uses it. Then I'd learn it as much as I could. Follow your dreams and learn something every day!
