I bought this knife last minute before going on a hunting trip. I was short on time and it was a nice looking knife so I bought it. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I was buying a made in China knife for that money as I've seen other Buck knives that are US made. I believe I'm the sucker this knife is intended for. There's plenty of bulk ammo everywhere online, LAX, Target Sports, True Shot, BattleHawk, Bud's, etc. and don't pay over 0.26/round for 9mm 115 grain FMJ or TMJ if available. Shipping is extra but usually around $12.00 UPS. Some come with a free ammo box with your ammo. And, BattleHawk has 100,000 rounds for $22,000, what a deal. LOL 🤔

Hey brother, Ken in NE Ohio here. I'm in the small town of Willard population about 5500. There's no place in town to buy ammo so the 2 nearest towns to buy ammo is in Shelby about 12 miles to our south at the Sportsman's Den nor in Norwalk 15 miles to our north at Rural King or Fin Fur Feather. Also in Norwalk there is Walmart but for the most part they just have a bunch of shotgun and 22 ammo with a few straight walled rifle calibers. At present there is ample pistol ammo,. 380, 9mm, 40, 45 acp. The prices aren't that bad but could be better. Surprisingly, at least for the moment I am seeing more 9mm both in brands and numbers than ever before. And lower p0rices on not so well knows brands. For instance a couple month ago I saw some ammo inc 9mm. A box of 20 of their 115 gr jhp was only $9, Compare that to a box of 25 Critical defense or Duty at nearly $30 it's a no brainer and the stuff performs well. A 50 round box of their 115 gr fmj was only $12. So I got 100 rounds of the jhp and 100 rounds of the fmj. I had intended to get more the next month but as you might guess it was all gone. this was at rural king. Hiowever there was another brand of jhp I had never heard of. Sinter fire 100 gr jhp for the same price so I got 100 rounds of that. There was still some of both brand names in 40 and 45. This month I got 400 rounds of yet another round I have never had. It is called m1152 which is said to be designed for use in the sig handgun for the military. It is a 115 gr flat tip fmj which on the box claims 1320 fps at the muzzle. From what I have read this just just over the +p pressure limit but a tad shot of the +p+ pressure. At $42 a box of 100 I thought that was a decent price for the added power. I run a Taurus g3 and it ran well, with one tiny caveat. When loading a mag and attempting to wrack the first round by pulling back on the slide the first round hung up on the feed ramp, but using the slide release it went right in and fired flawlessly, with alot more felt recoil. But i know all this could change on a dime so for the most part I just get a couple boxes of the cheapest fmj I can find once a month. All that said even in a shtf deal I'd be mostly using one of my 2 22 lr rifles which i have ample ammo for.

Thats Great Rural King is strange how they how they distribute ammo. our store locally is one of the best stores in firearm and ammo sales in the district but the store about 85 miles south of me gets allocated the most ammo because its the overall highest in sales of all the stores in the district and that store is right outside Indianapolis so over all sales is going to be higher over all then a town of less then 5,000 ppl. and please if you get ammo inc ammo use it for range use dont trust it for personal protection it is not the best or most reliable I got a range pack of 100 9mm and a can 200 300 black out in the 9mm 15 failed to fire in the 300 blackout it was upwards of 20 failed to fire. did some digging in to that and found it has been a common issue with them. very hit and miss. and that m1152 is great ammo just be careful what gun you shoot it out of its very hot damn near a +P+ if not a +P+ load. I do like it and have run it in my Smith and keep a few mags loaded with it.

@@LearnToSurvive574 one more question and I'll stop pestering you lol. Would you think it safe to say that a 9mm carbine firing the same round as a pistol would have at least double the effective range?
@LearnToSurvive574
@LearnToSurvive574 8 ай бұрын
@@kennethrisner8648 not pestering me at all I rather enjoy answering questions and helping people along the journey. to answer your question not really. In testing I have done with a ammo mfg here and their sammi approved software and chronograph my findings were out of a 9mm with a 18" barrel with standard 125 fmj would have 324 ftlb and 1081 fps at 100 yards and out of a 4" pistol it would be at 290 ftlb and 1029fps at 100 yards. So at 100 yards, the carbine provides 52 fps greater velocity than the pistol. anything much passed 100 yards the effectiveness is going to be diminished check in my info section my email is in there ill be more then happy to talk to you more about this as it does get complex and i would be writing a book in the comments if i really got into this

I don't really think that's where all of the ammo is going. Do people buy ammo and sell it on the secondary market? Yes. However it's a very small subset of the ammo supply. With the current state of the economy, most people don't have the capital to buy a bunch of ammo that is already overpriced at a fast enough pace to cause a big dent in the supply and then in turn cause a shortage. It's one of my least favorite myths because it turns a lot of people against folks who were responsible and bought it cheap and stacked it deep during the good times. The govt is sucking up most of the supply, and the majority of the folks selling ammo on the secondary market are people who bought a ton when it was cheap and plentiful; a right which they should have

A friend of mine works at a local farm supply store like Big R and there have been a few people come in and buy 5 to 8 k in ammo by the case. I do agree that is a rare case still people going in and buying 5 10 boxes at a time causes problems when the stuff like primers and powder is being snapped up by the govt and they are waving big money contracts in front of mfg to produce for them cutting the supply to the civilian market. and i believe there is more to it then ive talked about in the video.

Part of money that is spent on Chinese Communist products goes to the Chinese military. Some of that money goes to Russia to support their imperialist attack against Ukraine and some of it goes to Iran who in turn use it to support terrorist groups in the middle East and to attack israel.
