My dog whines CONSTANTLY. I work from home, so he's not left alone too much. Can the same principals be applied to a dog who just demands constant attention?

One of my dogs does this all the time. Every time a dog passes by our fence he goes crazy and redirects aggression to one of my other dogs. I can't stop it, not does he listen to me then (knows all commands otherwise).He enjoys the yard so I am not always near him. By the time I get out he is out of control. Not sure what else I can do.

I’m here to say they do keep looking for it. In fact, my dog even knows where I have it set at and will beg me to shine the light until I finally do, but I don’t think it’s good for him.

This is such an idealistic video. Come back to me when you’ve personally owned a dog who you’ve had to spend thousands in other people’s and dog’s medical bills from injuries they’ve caused. When you’ve spent hundreds on medication for anxiety, spent every minute you possibly can protecting them and training them to no avail, consulted many vets and behaviorista, and yet they still go after children every chance they get. A dog who listens and obeys you as the pack leader but SNAPS the instant they see another dog.

I always carry peperspray. It will kill nobody and even if someone else is under attack and gets sprayed too he will be fine some hours later...

My neighbor’s little Yorkie didn’t like men. When any man walked by their fence he went crazy, growling and barking. In contrast, he would either bark only a few times or not at all when a woman walked by. He was fine with boys but not big men. He was so sweet with us girls growing up. RIP Buddy

Pablo is afraid of vacuum cleaners, but not thunder or fireworks. He has awful seperation anxiety, and that is the way he was when i adopted him. He was kept in a small travel kennel 12+ hours a day. And on that point he will go nuts if put him in a kennel. When I've flown I've always had to sedate him. He is fine uf someone is with him or even another dog. In losing ny sight so im looking into a a guide dog. This is an awesome video. Thank tou so much ❤

My Texas Heelers were rolling around in feline excrement whilst I was on a visit at my parents home this evening. It made me gag when I got into the car. I just decided to let them wear their new musk for the night but they will be getting a bath tomorrow with Dr. Bronner's Hemp Tea Tree Soap. This fur momma just had to look it up as to why. It is *STINKY*!!

This is wildly inaccurate and potentially deadly advice and terribly depressing to see the guilt tossed back onto owners making a difficult call. We are currently challenged with the decision to go through with behavioral euthanasia for an aggressive dog that has not socialized into our "pack" after 6 months of structured training, vet visits, bloodwork, medication, worked with behaviorist, muzzle work, etc. All to land at the end of a day where our friend was bit in the face unprovoked. In the past, the dog attacked our other dogs, bit me (stitches required), went after my wife, etc - all while we made justifications around why it happened each time. We have developed a pattern to mitigate most triggers over this 6 month period but the reality is this dog will never be safe as we can't guarantee that those safeguards will work 100% of the time or that a mistake won't happen which will put one of other other dogs or anyone nearby at real danger of serious injury. The most humane thing to do is to make the hard call in some situations. Rehoming the dog isn't an option with the bite history as most rescue and shelter organizations are overfilled with dogs without bite histories. Additionally if there was a home that did "fit" the risk of bite is still there given the behavior of the dog and the additional stress and anxiety that would crop up from the rehoming process. Throwing blanket statements that owners are ill-informed or don't know what they are doing is just insanity - I can safely say that the 50+ dogs that we've rescued, rehomed, fostered, done hospice for, etc over the last 20 years - there are certain dogs that the most humane and ethical choice is to end their life. Not being open to that as a last resort is just wild to me.

She is a wonderful lady who seeks out help to be a great furry Mom to that precious pup. She went away with tools to assist her which is obviously a game changer. Even though Gracie is small she still is a powerful dog, not understanding why she is in a harness on the last part of the video ??? Unfortunately no control with the harness.

I have two Anatolian Shepherds that keep getting out of my fenced 40 acres and running for 5 or more miles, I have tracking collars on them so I can always get them back or they come back but it's extremely frustrating. I've tried to fix any dips in the fence but my female scours the fence line to find any weakness to get out, I have horses and donkeys but they could care less about staying with the herd. Please help, my male won't run off on his own but he will go anywhere with my female.

I go door to door doing volunteer work, and I have done these steps a number of times. Only once has it actually worked. I would resort to saying "Bad dog" or if i knew the gender then I would use that... Many are guard dogs who came at me... threw the dog in confusin as i was giving it one command and the owner giving it another. But, never was i in a position where it was safe to even move. They would even come running around the house with no warning of signs around, and i had stepped in front of the partner i was with. Especially some being kids. I had to protect and older woman, dear friend, who had aplziemers (sp?). Some guy let his guard dog on us ! After almost 40 yrs of dealing with so many different kinds of dogs, breeds, and attitudes. They have, most times, it was not wise to move. Eventually O resorted to bring mase. Which i have to buy more. Thank fully i didny have to use it. Because i just didny have the heart to do that... many times i did not have any on me..... But now, in life, i will have no problem in using it. I had aslo bought a dog tune. Its a little things size of key ring, pressed that and sometimes the dogs would be bothered by the high pitch that only they can hear.....

Take a shower? Really? I cant even do that. My husband has to come home and watch him. We adopted him 9 days ago and Ive been jome ever since. I need to go back to work. 5-7 weeks is not an option.

If there's no science, there's no syndrome. 🙄 There might be associations and patterns of behaviors that might make sense, but you shouldn't be saying there's a syndrome when there hasnt been a syndrome proven and backed by science.

My rescue pittie is very similar to Gracie! She has come a long way in the 7 months I’ve had her, with training and consistency🙏🏼💖. It simply takes time.

I have a rescue pit she is the sweetest little thing ever. She’s smart n loves everyone n everything 😂 n knows absolutely NO personal space n will attack your face w kisses every chance she gets😂😂 When I got her she was in bad bad shape she had skin infections, severe skin allergies, yeast infection,anemia, mange, malnutrition, n a couple other issues as well. She was pitiful it makes me want to cry thinking about how someone did my sweet sweet girl this way💔😭 I wish I had five mins alone w whoever abused my girl🥊. But even w all tht goin on and how she was treated she still has so much love for humans it’s truly incredible❤

1:00 I was out walking my lurcher dog when this big dog ran at us 100% like it meant business. I held Ruby back and while it was still about 30 yards away, yelled like it was either you or me to the dog. It turned tail and ran. lol Really mean it when you yell, the dog will sense any lack of resolve.

The dog is wrong, pineapple on Pizza is delicious. The trick is to pair it with pepperoni not ham or bacon. The grease from the pepperoni, and the juice from the pineapple.... so good.
