Just to the right of Greygoose Park you can also see Deer Park, which stops at Southern Way (if it's still called that). Nice to see where I used to live. My parents moved 3 times in Harlow, and this was the last place before I left. At the time in the 70s, what's now apparently the Paringdon club, was built and owned by BP.

The housing estates mostly haven't changed at all since the 70s, I especially recognised some houses I always thought were Lego style ones around Hornbeams and Rivermill. I didn't recognise the Town station though, looks like a lot of changes there.

Thanks, I'd never seen Bishopsfield from the air before. On the ground, and especially inside, it all looked like a huge concrete monolith - unfortunately also made using high alumina concrete that didn't age well, so in my time there (late 70s) lots of different parts were being propped up with steel reinforcers. Since it still looks pretty intact, I guess they were able to fix the problem. It does look better from the air than on the ground, though 😉

Thanks for the video, including the work put in to do the Passmores song 😁 I left in '76, so a little earlier than '79 but I did recognise some of those names: Mr Griffiths, Mr De Luca, and of course, Mr Tye. I had a friend in Willowfield tower, so that also brings back memories. It was easy to skip school in the afternoon, after the roll-call, we would go behind the sports hall and through the broken-down fence. Only got caught once. I was a bit shocked to hear that Brays Grove got renamed as the new Passmores - what heresy 😉 Any chance of a video on Abbotsweld Junior school?
