Electrolux product are Chinese made garbage. We have an Electrolux gas cooktop. All the knobs are falling off and the company refuses to send a tiny replacement sleeve to fix the issue. Instead they want us to pay $50 for a new knob! On top of that they got tired of talking to me on chat and decided to block me from accessing their website! Amazing customer service!

I spend $2700 USD on their drying and washer. Less than 12 days after installation and use of about 4 times the dryer stopped working. This isn't something you should experience when you are dropping that type of money and I will be doing a charge back as the "new" unit I got is already faulty. Stay away from this brand. Also after their 1 year warranty its more expensive to fix the machines than buying them new so they are made to break.

Our Electrolux dryer takes many cycles to dry pillow cases and a fitted sheet. We dont even dry the top sheet in hopes that one load will Dry in one cycle. It takes a normal drynxycle plus 2 15 minute fast dry cycles to completely dry 4 pillowcases and a fitted sheet. Something is wrong and we cant find a fix on KZbin.

Good day! If your dryer isn't drying a pillowcase and a fitted sheet in one cycle, even though those are relatively light items, it could indicate a few specific issues: Tangling Issues: Fitted sheets and pillowcases can often get tangled up into a ball, which traps moisture inside and makes drying less efficient. To prevent this, try shaking out the items before placing them in the dryer or adding dryer balls to help keep them separated during the cycle. Sometimes dryers have trouble detecting smaller loads, which may result in the dryer shutting off prematurely. Try adding a few more lightweight items to the load to improve airflow and help the dryer detect the load properly. Ensure that the moisture sensors inside the drum are clean. Wipe them down with a damp cloth, as residue from softeners or dryer sheets can affect the sensor’s ability to detect when the clothes are dry.

We’ve started putting in small loads to dry because full loads took too long (3 hours!). Not sure if the thermostat is working. We could hear the dryer heater click on but it also clicks off after a while. I'll have to call for a service tech to come out and take a look at it. We’ve cleaned the dryer vent and the lint filter so those aren't causing the issue. Thanks for your reply.

Hi! Inspect and clean your filters, disconnect the hose and check for kinks, bends, or clogs, and check the air vent near the sink to be sure there are no obstructions. If the door is opened during a running cycle to add an item, all cycle and option selected lights, (Select models), will flash to indicate that the cycle is suspended. Firmly close the door until it latches.

When my brand new Series 600 dryer finished it beeped but stayed at 0 min lit up. Does it turn off automatically after so many minutes or do I have to turn it off manually?
@electroluxus
@electroluxus 2 ай бұрын
Hello! The Series 600 dryer typically has a feature that keeps the display lit for a few minutes after the cycle ends to allow you to retrieve your clothes and make any necessary adjustments. It should turn off automatically after a short period. If it doesn't, you can manually turn it off by pressing the power button. If the display stays lit for an extended period or if there are any other issues, it might be worth checking the user manual for specific instructions or troubleshooting steps.

Bonjour!

Good day! Ensure there are no blockages in the dishwasher's filter, spray arms, or drain hose. Sometimes debris can cause the appliance to stop mid-cycle. Try resetting the dishwasher by turning it off at the circuit breaker for a few minutes and then turning it back on. This can sometimes clear minor electronic glitches.

Hello! Ensure that the cookware you're using is induction-compatible. Cookware must have a flat, magnetic bottom to work with an induction cooktop. If the cooktop does not detect suitable cookware, it may shut off. Make sure the cookware is centered on the cooking zone.

Thank you for dropping by! Intermittent operation of the induction cooktop can be caused by several factors, including power supply issues, overheating, or malfunctioning components. Ensure that the cooktop is properly connected to a stable power source. Verify that the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet and that there are no issues with the electrical circuit supplying power to the cooktop. If the cooktop has been in use for an extended period, it may shut off intermittently to prevent overheating. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before attempting to use it again. Try resetting the induction cooktop by turning off the power at the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then turning it back on. This can help reset any internal sensors or components that may be causing the intermittent operation.

Good day! If the door of your front load washer isn't locking properly, it could indicate a few potential issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps to address the problem: Ensure there are no obstructions, such as clothing or debris, preventing the door from closing properly. Examine the door seal (also known as the door gasket) for any damage or debris. Clean the seal with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or residue that may be preventing it from sealing properly.

Hi there! If your wall oven is experiencing temperature fluctuations and continues to rise in temperature even after reaching the set temperature, it could indicate a few potential issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps to address the problem: Start by calibrating the oven to ensure that the temperature settings are accurate. Refer to the oven's user manual for instructions on how to calibrate the temperature settings. Inspect the door seal (also known as the door gasket) for any signs of damage or wear. A worn or damaged door seal can allow heat to escape from the oven, leading to temperature fluctuations. If the seal is damaged, replace it with a new one.

How do you clean inside the oven exhaust at the top? It's caught a lot of debris and gunk...
@electroluxus
@electroluxus 5 ай бұрын
Good day! Cleaning the oven exhaust at the top can help maintain optimal ventilation and prevent the buildup of grease and residue. Here's a general guide on how to clean. Before you begin, ensure that the oven is turned off and completely cool to avoid the risk of burns. If your oven has grates or racks near the exhaust, remove them to access the area more easily. Mix a solution of warm water and mild dish soap or oven cleaner in a bucket or spray bottle. Alternatively, you can use a commercial oven cleaner designed for this purpose. Use a soft cloth or sponge to apply the cleaning solution to the interior of the oven exhaust area. Pay close attention to any areas with visible buildup or residue.

Anyone know how to remove the control lock?
@electroluxus
@electroluxus 6 ай бұрын
Hi there! To remove the control lock on a front load washer, you typically need to follow these steps: Note: This may vary depending on your model. Look for a button or combination of buttons on the control panel of your front load washer that is labeled with "Control Lock," "Child Lock," or a similar indicator. This button is usually used to activate and deactivate the control lock feature. Press and hold the Control Lock button for several seconds until you hear a beep or see a light indicator change on the control panel. This action should unlock the control panel and allow you to use the washer's controls again. After releasing the Control Lock button, check the display or control panel to confirm that the control lock has been deactivated. You should be able to see the normal display and access the washer's settings and functions. Once the control lock has been removed, test the washer's controls to ensure that they are functioning properly. Try selecting different cycles, adjusting settings, and starting a wash cycle to verify that everything is working as expected.

@electroluxus
@electroluxus 6 ай бұрын
Good day! We are sorry to hear that you have had to deal with these circumstances. If your single-door freezer is filling up with water and then freezing, there may be a few possible causes for this issue: the freezer compartment has a drain that allows water from the defrost cycle to flow out of the freezer. Check to see if the drain is clear and free of obstructions. Incorrect temperature settings in the freezer can also contribute to ice buildup and water accumulation. A damaged or worn door seal can allow warm air to enter the freezer, leading to increased frost and ice buildup. Inspect the door seal for any signs of damage or wear, and replace it if necessary to ensure a tight seal. In the event that the tips provided do not resolve your concern, please contact us through Live Chat or by phone at 1-877-435-3287 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, for us to investigate

Hi there! The beep at the end of the cycle on your dryer is a built-in feature designed to alert you when the drying cycle has completed. However, if you find the beep annoying or if you prefer not to have it, many dryers offer the option to disable or adjust the volume of the end-of-cycle signal. We recommend visiting your owner's manual.

Hi there! It's not uncommon for front-load washers to lack a traditional drain cleanout access point, as the design of these machines typically incorporates a filter or trap within the pump assembly to catch debris and prevent it from entering the drain system. How much detergent do you use for each setting?
@electroluxus
@electroluxus 6 ай бұрын
Hi there! The amount of detergent you should use in a front load washer can vary depending on factors such as the size of the load, the level of soil, and the concentration of the detergent. It's important to avoid overloading the washer with too much detergent, as this can lead to issues such as excess sudsing, poor rinsing, and detergent residue buildup. Always refer to the detergent manufacturer's guidelines and the washer's user manual for specific recommendations based on your washer model and the type of detergent you're using.

After 4 weeks of trouble shooting, the tech that Frigidaire/ Electrolux sent out finally said that we have a faulty fill tube heater assembly and it can not be replaced as it is internal. He said my only option is a replacement freezer. These freezers have multiple issues and you can read about them online. It looks fantastic and has great storage. Unfortunately the unit is not designed well and the company does not do anything for the consumer after the 1 year warranty. Ours is just over 2 years old.

Can I use oxiclean powder in the stain soak additive space or do I need to use a liquid stain remover?
@electroluxus
@electroluxus 6 ай бұрын
Hi there! Thank you for dropping by! You can use OxiClean powder in the stain soak additive compartment of your front load washer, but there are a few considerations to keep in mind: check the washer's compatibility; follow the usage guidelines provided on the OxiClean packaging for best results. Also, visit your owner's manual for suggestions.

HOW do I know my washers "compatibility'??? (Unless I looked it up on the washers dating site, 😜lol!) That's an odd thing to me...what does that mean, exactly? ALso the owner's manual says NOTHING about it. That's why I went to internet. (It's Saturday & don't think Customer service is available & my last wait on phone was 2 hours). Thank you for real clarification@@electroluxus

Thank you for dropping by! Oxiclean, like many laundry detergents and additives, is generally safe to use in front-load washers when used according to the manufacturer's instructions. We recommend visiting your owner's manual for proper instructions.

Yesterday our ESL5355LO Electrolux Dishwasher turned off itself close into when I started it. The light under that should be red was turned off and the dishwasher was...off as well. I checked inside and there was a lot of water on the floor of the dishwasher which I took out manually, then I cleaned the filter etc. Questions: Is there something else that could have been clogged, that I should check before I try to use the dishwasher again? Not sure whats going on... =(

Good day! We never like to hear about one of our appliances not working as designed. Check the dishwasher's filter, drain, and the bottom of the tub for any food particles or debris that might be obstructing the drainage. The drain hose could be kinked or clogged. Ensure it’s free of any blockages or twists that might restrict water flow. Check the garbage disposal’s connection and make sure the knockout plug has been removed. In the event that the tips provided do not resolve your concerns, please connect with us through live chat or by phone at 1-877-435-3287 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.

Hi , I would like to know the model of my Electrolux hob. We are moving to a used house. There was no user manual or model number of the hob. The thing I noted is that the temperature adjustment is in round style. Please advise.

Hi! The model and serial number for cooktops are typically located along the underside of the cooktop base when lifted.

Defrosting will often help with ice maker problems. Seemingly there is no button to turn the unit off to defrost, without destroying your built-in setup and pulling freezer out to get to the plug!!!!!! If those guys were designing cars - you'd have to get under the car and disconnect the fuel line to turn the car off... :) But, there is way! Hold (-) and ICE MAKER buttons together for a good 10 seconds. The unit will first beep once or twice, but after a while - you will see small "DEMO" lit next to the temperature display, and it will stop producing cold. This is not anywhere in the manual. And bot replying here is also will not tell you that. This is just bad design, and bad customer service. Practically expected in 2024 :(

awesome im going to try this! ours was just installed about 3 months ago and we have never gotten ice, water works great out of the fridge and the ice machine makes a grinding noise a couple times a day like it's trying to make ice but nothing happens. To turn it back on after it's defrosted, do I just hold the buttons again? thanks for the help!

Hi Electrolux, I would to ask if I can cook with a pan that is larger than the actual size of a zone, for example the "Center Front Element Burner" Size is listed at 8", can I cook using a 10" pan?... 8" is kinda small for a pan, and 8" is the largest zone size for this cooktop, can I still cook using the 10" for example?.
@electroluxus
@electroluxus 7 ай бұрын
Good day! It's generally not recommended to cook with a pan that is larger than the size of the heating element on your stove, especially for electric or induction cooktops. Here's why: When you use a pan that is larger than the heating element, the outer edges of the pan may not receive as much direct heat as the center. This can result in uneven cooking and potentially lead to food burning in the center while the outer edges remain undercooked. Using a larger pan requires more energy to heat up because a significant portion of the heat generated by the element is lost beyond the edges of the pan. This can result in longer cooking times and higher energy consumption. A larger pan can overhang the edges of the heating element, increasing the risk of accidental burns or spills. It may also destabilize the pan and make it more prone to tipping or spilling its contents.

I bought this set the dryer collects very little lint 99% of the lint goes out the vent outside..recently the dryer is acting like it is over heating or something it keeps shutting off no codes or anything
@electroluxus
@electroluxus 7 ай бұрын
Hi there! We are sorry to hear that you have had to deal with these circumstances. Inspect the dryer's exhaust vent to ensure it's not blocked or restricted. A clogged vent can cause overheating by preventing proper airflow and ventilation. Clear any lint buildup or obstructions from the vent hose and vent outlet. Remove and clean the lint filter before each use. A clogged or dirty lint filter can restrict airflow and cause the dryer to overheat.

My Top Ice Maker Isn't making ice ...when i depress the paddle on the door the motor turns so that works but there is no ice in the bucket to dispense however, the bottom ice maker works fine and so does the water flow when switched to water and the paddle is depressed. I put in a new water filter (not a knock off) a genuine Electrolux. Should a Replacement part # 243297606 unit fix this? please advise.....Thank you Carl

Hi there! Thank you for dropping by! When the ice maker in your French door refrigerator isn't making ice, there could be several reasons for the issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to identify and resolve the problem: Check the Ice Maker Switch: Ensure that the ice maker switch is turned on. The switch is usually located on the ice maker itself or on the control panel of the refrigerator. If the switch is off, the ice maker will not produce ice. Inspect the Water Supply: Verify that the water supply line to the refrigerator is connected properly and the water valve supplying water to the refrigerator is open. Ensure that the water line is not kinked or obstructed. Check the Water Filter: If your refrigerator has a water filter, it may be clogged or overdue for replacement. A clogged filter can restrict water flow to the ice maker, preventing it from producing ice. Replace the water filter if necessary. If the tips above don't address your concern, please contact us through live chat or by phone at 1-877-435-3287 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, for us to investigate.
