So, did you get the bump to I group? Good lines, but I think it would be better if you ran the exit of T1 out farther toward the exit cone.

No, the instructor said I was offline a little which I accept because I was deliberately working on trying to tip in later, next time form sure

@@backho12 idk man, i thought I was gonna hate their "follow the leader' setup but its actually way easier to progress and get a bump I feel. Since this was my first time at MidOhio I started in the bottom of the novice groups and every other session I would get passed on to a faster coach.

@@rmh3093 Bad stator? My 2002 R1 had a burned up stator when I bought it used. Was a pain to change it out, flywheel was super stubborn and had to use a gear puller on it gradually, then tried whacking it and it popped off eventually.
@rmh30939 ай бұрын
No, I had done a TD at PittRace a weekend or two before hand and it rained all weekend and corroded the ground connector going to my rectifier. I didn't figure this out until I had replaced the stator and rectifier. Guess I have backups now.

My whole property has a slight grade towards the back of the property, so even though it looks sorta flat relative to the ground, relative to the trailer is all going down. More would probably be optimal but I don't have any other option right now. This is not a permanent solution.

Great, if it isn't an inconvenience could you explain the process or steps you took to check for and solve the issue? We removed the valve cover but we didn't know what to do from there.

I added a link to the pick in the description of this post. It was one of these surfaces that was not perfectly flat so when I reved the engine it would rock and make the clanking sound.
@thecrazynebraskan11 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the quick reply. Could you tell me which part it was according to this website's diagram? cmsnl.com/honda-cm450c-1982-custom-usa_model1051/partslist/E++04.html#results
@rmh309311 жыл бұрын
Yeah I figured out what the noise was. One of rocker arm covers does not sit perfectly flush/flat on the cylinder head. I had to put a bit of Hylomar Blue under the high side to keep it from rocking. Now its dead silent.
@thecrazynebraskan11 жыл бұрын
My brothers Honda CM450C was making this same noise, but he continued to ride it. Now the right side will not fire and there seems to be an immense loss of compression. We thought the noise was originally from a valve, but we are unsure now because the sound is worse now. Have you found out what it could be?

@ekdikeo I find this funny... There was a poll a little while back stating iOS had more crashes for apps then Android did, Android is not hard to use at all, In order to close an app just push the back button if it still runs Android as a wonder function which will shut the app down.
@ekdikeo13 жыл бұрын
On top of that -- the Android store has a report of how many app crashes and freezes your app gets on a daily basis. No other app store has that. Why? Because no other app store -needs- it. The Android system is pretty much Windows '95 all over again, and people are putting up with it, because they don't know there are better ways to do things. Also, there may be half a million apps, but it's only possible to locate the 500 "top selling" ones.
@ekdikeo13 жыл бұрын
Let's see. closing an app in 2.3, requires no less than .. 4? maybe 5 different menu options to be gone through. That's, of course, if the app didn't just close automatically on you when you hit the home button, because apps tend to do that because Android hates multitasking. So, closing an errant app requires going through hoops to get there, but NOT closing an app that you want to stay running is often impossible. Android is the only mobile system wehre apps ROUTINELY crash.
@stavros300613 жыл бұрын
@ekdikeo The fact that you find Android incredibly difficult to use just speaks for your brain capacity, as it's No.1 choice to most smartphone users in the world. The number of available apps which is somewhere below half a million doesn't quite persuade me that it's incredibly difficult to develop for. And yeah, there are a few malware apps but for 4 years of using Android I have never come across any of them. Hey, it's an open system, shit happens, but its openness is what makes it so great.
@ekdikeo13 жыл бұрын
@stavros3006 just the facts, man. Android is incredibly difficult to use, it's incredibly difficult to develop for, and it's a system that has become absolutely chock full of malware. It is in an unfortunate phase that makes it look about like Windows '95.
