Symmetry Printing bought the first machine in the US.. Serial N. 002 and we encountered a multitude of issues with the printer. Initially, there were problems with the ink not curing properly, resulting in the boards sticking together. We also experienced issues with smudging of the white ink and noticeable banding on our prints as well lots of media scratching because the table was never leveled when installed (table was leveled after the first year and lots of damage media). Vacuum-related problems were widespread, which forced us to apply tape to secure most of our materials. As of now, the printer has essentially become a large, non-functional piece of equipment because Ricoh never took the necessary steps to address or replace it. I firmly believe that the root of these problems can be traced back to the technicians' lack of expertise. In fact, within the first three months and after a couple of technician visits, the machine had to undergo a complete rebuild with new heads. This was due to the fact that two technicians essentially mishandled the machine, resulting in a catastrophic failure where negative pressure was compromised, causing all the ink to spill onto the table and my office floor. This incident further highlights the technicians' lack of proficiency. In contrast, I have not witnessed these issues with the new machines that utilize updated ink, and the vacuum system has since been relocated and repaired. I don't know about the techs :D We had to buy a new flatbed (Other Brand)) in order to fulfill orders and not send those out. While I still believe that the Ricoh offered superior quality and speed, the inadequate support, service, and responsiveness from Ricoh have brought us to this point where they are unwilling to replace the machine, despite my willingness to continue making the remaining payments. As a side note, Machine Serial No. 003 was sold online for $7500. YES... No typos $7,500!!!

Good morning we have a problem with a multifunction RICOH IMC 2000 practically the print has toner spots and dots on some areas of the sheet I cleaned the transfer belt cleaning unit but the problem has reoccurred even if we do a color print I have to replace the belt cleaning blade or there may be some other defect. Thank you good job 👍

Would never do business with Ricoh again, we have 2 digital presses, been with them for about 8 years, their service was so, so, but they sold our service contract to Gordon Flesch, and they suck on the service, we are in the process of buying 2 new machines from a different manufacturer, and saying goodby to Ricoh and Gordon Flesch.

Bought a SP150SUw (printer, scanner, copier) in Oct 2017. The scanner stopped working in Oct 2018. The Ricoh service person came and took the printer back to office for repair. Then returned it 3 weeks later. Few weeks ago, the same thing happened, the scanner stopped functioning again. Today, again the service person came and took the printer back to office for repair. Within this 2 years 2+ months period, I hardly used the printer/scanner. Maximum is 30 pages scanned. For the printing part, I'm currently still using the same toner cartridge that came with the printer. Ricoh printer is defective. But Ricoh Malaysia has pretty good service. However, I'm very sure that when it breaks down again next year, Ricoh would no longer entertain me and I would have no other option but to buy a new printer.
