Better to invest in electric vehicle infrastructure and local assembly of vehicles (cars and buses) and good to discourage imports in times of fiscal deficits. Pakistan should have been self sufficient in its auto sector by now.

Every year millions of animals, worth millions of rupees, are slaughtered in our "poor" country. I have no problem, if one celebrates it as a religious festival, I respect their sentiments. But I think people have forgotten the essence, purpose of sacrifice in Eid. Hum bus animals ko marte ja rahe hai, some fathers insist their children to hold animal's legs, while they cut their throat. The impact of that trauma, gets hide in shadows. We are making our future generation traumatized. Youth of middle class masses with huge aspirations are being feeded this visuals all over the roads on that day. This might be a small thing for elite class, because of huge barrier between Rich & Poor in our country. Guys, what are your views on this, don't you think about atleast discourse of reforms as a society.

You are correct but reform is against Two Nation Theory. Trauma is required so that it would be easy to kill Kafirs in a war. The issue is no one fights with the sword anymore. You can also argue in the same way for Ramzan which is based on a warrior diet. Take care of yourself, dude, you may be killed for such questions as that would mean Islam has no place in the modern world. The idea of animal sacrifice is to make children indifferent to cruelty.
