My husband got his construction millwright ticket from Local 1425 Sudbury On. make a long story short got laid off, now trying to find permenate employment in Sudbury On which is impossible cuz every employer only wants to hire Industrial Ticketed persons not Contruction . My understanding was that contruction millwrights performed the same jobs as the industrial with the exception that construction did set up as well. Very disappointing;(

I am very happy that your organization is doing excellent work. We need more millwrights in the field... I am an industrial mechanic from Saudi Arabia, and I am going to challenge the Red Seal millwright exam. I hope to come to Canada in 2025 for the Red Seal exam.
