Attacking their best player is a terrible strat, bc you are giving their best player (who most likely can rebuild quickest), lots of war items and war simoleans to counter attack your team with their higher level attacks. I have highest level city and attacks on my team, and most opponents avoid attacking me bc of my per war average score (75k), making me have to use a ton of resources to get items from war deliveries just to have the items to attack (if my team doesn't give me items from their rebuilds). We play in arena 6, and I love getting attacked, even destroyed (bubbled), bc I can typically repair the 15 buildings in 5-10 minutes, and reap the benefits of the war items and simoleans. I always score way more points in the wars I'm actually getting attacked vs the ones I'm not, so again, attacking the opponents best player is the worst strat possible, unless that player isn't very active or doesn't know what they're doing and can't rebuild very quick, but in most scenarios, especially in the higher war arenas (4-6, the better players will own u if you continue to attack them. My team always looks to attack the cities who are not very active or have the lowest level attacks or per war average score, and weve been winning 90%-95% of our wars. By all means tho, please continue to attack the best players, so I can hopefully play your team and reap the benefits of being attacked/destroyed.
